this poster and the mockup is inspired by the music video. i’ve linked it above in case y’all wanna watch it, but my first watch just hits me sm, esp. that the internet is fmu…yet again.

like imagine scrolling thru instagram only to find a ragebait anti-ai poster, a FB story saying “ai cosplays could neverrr”, and a YT video abt how google search sucks now bc of ai integration. the first one’s easy to dodge with the “not interested” button. for the rest? i’m too exhausted to handle (눈_눈)

i guess nothing’s gonna save me from dread, not my fav k-pop music, or a comfort film, or my fashion taste (i don’t have one anyway)

idk, i kinda don’t like what i did with this poster. she’s too off-centered, there’s lots of dead space, i even forgot to include the flower petals. but what’s the point anymore when you cried all afternoon?

my eyes are all red and puffy from the tears i’ve shed. maybe bc i’ve acted like an a-hole and they given me the silent treatment. and then from there, i told myself: “screw it, i’ll just go upstairs, doomscroll, cry to sad kpop songs, and starve myself because i deserve to be punished for my actions.”

man, this day sucks. to the point where i don’t wanna do a new poster like this one. but i did it anyway to cope with all this. yet still, it feels like this isn’t enough. i guess thanks for reading my vent. you can give me advice if u want. i’m gonna cry myself to sleep.

so, today’s poster (or rather a magazine page?) is inspired by an instagram reel from Vår Aunevik. she mentions abt how in norway, they have a law where tobacco products have to be stripped from their branding and use the most ugliest color (pantone 448 c) to make them “less appealing.”

this led to a quick wikipedia rabbit hole learning about this color. while reading about it, i wondered: “what if i make a poster based on this?” and this is the result. i guess this is the first time i’ve done something educational, even to the point that i add references in the form of footnotes lol. hope u learn something today (^_~)b

a poster made entirely from photopea bc i reformatted my mac laptop today after receiving it. apparently, they couldn’t fix it anymore bc it’s “beyond economic repair” (T_T)

but aside from that, i’m so suprised how well photopea works on the browser. it’s basically like photoshop that i’m used to, but there’s missing tools that i’m used to (generative expand, auto remove background). oh well, better use what i have then…

anyway, the swash comes from freeSVG :)

i originally made this series as a way to get my anti-ai thoughts out of my head. they’re like ghosts, haunting me at night in my sleep. eventually, making these posters became a way for me to let go of them instead of venting it to someone or use chatgpt.

but the more i make this series, the more i feel…terrible. someone told me not to make this series anymore because it “feels like attacking people” and doesn’t “promote that ‘art is for everyone’.” meanwhile, i encounter tens, if not hundreds, of anti-ai comments, posts, and memes from all over the place, and all i could do is bottle them up. i’m so tired. i don’t wanna stay like this forever.

so to them antis, f*ck you for making me miserable and wanting to disappear from this world. i hope that makes you happy. also, i’m retiring this series for the better. goodbye.
