FIRST THINGS FIRST(Completely my take no cgi expert )
the tone and color grading of visuals (with not much texture detailing) from first announcement video back in 2025 were really good and gave a distinct sense of what makers were trying to show
(forest different from our current time world) and they were looking believable too infact they were good enough just needed enhanced detailing
now when in the trailer we look at the forest shots shown
the detailing is good(com’on don’t blindly criticise the detailing is top notch for me but the the shadow rendering and lighting quality along with the color pallete is affecting the final cinematic output as we can clearly see latest color tone is failing to blend ranbir’s character with the background)
so why did makers shifted? due to the heavily criticism of being looking like a tv serial? or over use of vfx?
i guess the blind hate did affect them apart from fair criticism
I STILL WONDER HOW IT WOULD’VE LOOKED WITH ORIGINAL COLOR TONE AND LATEST DETAILING

using different images with different contrast and saying star plus is better even the detailing on vidyutjeeva’s costume looks better than this entire serial(no hate to siya ke raam btw)

the most common hated aspect of ramayana film is the lord rama and sita maa pair
ranbir and sai’s pair is hated a lot being call as the most miscast and worst pair(having no chemistry at all) with many more hatred terms alongside
but from my perspective they look absolutely fine and will have a striking chemistry throughout the film
even prabhas and kriti didn’t get that much hate as compared to these two
their pair was the absolute worst carrying 0% resemblance of ram and sita in the film

when the first announcement video dropped last year
he was nitpicking like hell
like he said ki subtitle mai ramayanam ki jagah ramayana arha usko theek kr dena
i understand his strong political holding and he is sometimes right about hidden agenda in bollywood movies
but bhai yeh aur iski audience 🥀
