Bca or B.Tech cs

1st sem bca student currently, should i switch over to b. Tech cse (if possible) even though the fees is higher?

Me personally i think instead of wasting so much fees on a degree, i could just maybe increase the budget for my new laptop instead, but then again the industry basically ignores bca and prefers 4year degrees like btech cse over 3 year ones like bca

Help a beginner out

I'm just getting into college and i don't have a specific domain like web dev, app dev, cyber security etc and I'm pretty confused on where to start from

i do have some basic c++, python and js knowledge but i the only thing i need some help is with the proper roadmap or structure to learn and understand the logic behind programming itself(not a single specific language) which can help me build my foundation now

My problem is probably going 10/10 on those tutorial hells and then struggling to program after even though i might know its purpose

Macbook Air or Thinkpad

Just a new college student, wanting to know which one is worth it.

I like the macbook's long battery health, smoothness and build quality but I'm someone who has decent interest and experience in linux and prefer having total control over my own laptop/pc

I'm conflicted about which one to choose

On one hand if i buy the macbook air(m1/m2) I'll lose access to linux, although the asahi project is there for apple silicion devices but its not too stable which poses issues for a learner who knows about linux but not too deep into it yet

On the other hand if i buy the thinkpad I'll lose the unified memory perk, portability and long battery

If someone has any advices or experiences with one or both of them, please guide me

Section 12 of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act

I'm not a law pursuer but i wanna know for a reason that

Under this law, what are the exact legal boundaries and limitations regarding a user’s Right to Erasure when dealing with an incomplete, unverified financial account?

Specifically if someone signs up for a crypto/fintech platform and regsisters their PAN and some bank details, but never did any sort of transactions even once and now wants to delete the account and the related data alongside it.

Does the lack of not completing kyc or not renewing it strip the platform of its right to archive this partial data or does merely linking some bank details trigger statutory archival exemptions that defeat a Section 12 erasure request?

And lastly,

can the platform legally refuse absolute data deletion by citing overriding financial retention mandates?

Maths exam

So i wasn't able to clear my maths class 12 exams due to being extremely sick the day before and somehow just sat there and did the most simplest questions for 3 hours in the examination centre

But i want to take b.tech and i know I'm good at maths, it's just that i was sick to the point i couldn't even walk properly

So if i take on-demand maths exam on NiOS in july, will i be able to enter private b. Tech cse? (For context my marks in physics and chemistry are above 70)
