How Can I Improve My Overall Hygiene as a Guy?

I’m 21 and trying to improve my self-care and hygiene routine overall. I already shower daily, but I feel like there are probably better habits/products I should be using for things like body odor, grooming, skincare, and staying fresh throughout the day.

What are some hygiene tips or routines that made a noticeable difference for you? Any product recommendations are appreciated too.

Would Neuroscience or Psychiatry Better Help Me Understand Emotional Regulation?

I want to better understand my emotions, thought patterns, and behavior, especially how to regulate them more effectively. That’s why I’m considering going back to school for neuroscience. I’m also wondering if psychiatry might be a better path since it focuses more directly on mental health, behavior, and treatment. I’m trying to figure out which field would give me the deepest understanding of the human mind and emotional regulation.

Can Neuroscience Help You Understand Human Behavior Better?

Does Neuroscience Training Change Social Perception and Emotional Regulation?

I’m curious about whether studying neuroscience significantly changes the way people interpret human behavior and social interaction.

For example, does deeper knowledge of cognition, emotion, and neural processing improve someone’s ability to recognize deception, discomfort, emotional suppression, or nonverbal communication patterns?

I’m also interested in whether neuroscience training influences self-regulation. Do people in the field generally become more aware of their own cognitive biases, emotional reactions, and behavioral patterns, or does having scientific knowledge of the brain not necessarily translate into greater emotional control in everyday life?

Was Becoming a Teacher Worth It?

I’m curious to hear from teachers directly. Was going through college, student teaching, certifications, stress, and everything else required to become a teacher ultimately worth it to you?

Do you feel fulfilled by the career, or if you could go back, would you choose a different path? I’m especially interested in hearing both the positives and negatives from people currently teaching or who have left the profession.

Can Psychology and Neuroscience Help You Understand Human Behavior More Deeply?

I’m going back to school to study neuroscience, and I’ve been wondering what that kind of knowledge actually changes about the way you see people. Does studying neuroscience or psychology make you more aware of things like deception, discomfort, body language, or when someone might be hiding something?

For people who study psychology, does that level of understanding give you more control over your own mind and emotions, or do you still experience things like anger, emotional outbursts, overthinking, and personal blind spots like everyone else?

I’m looking to borrow $60 for a short-term need and can repay $100 in full within 3 weeks on 05/28. This is a guaranteed repayment agreement, and I’m committed to honoring the full $100 return on the agreed date.

I can receive and send funds through PayPal, Zelle, or Apple Pay, whichever is most convenient.

The reason for the request is a temporary cash gap, and I’ll be able to repay on time without issue.
