Looking into a split wireless KB because I hate the idea of wired, but we live in an apartment with some crappy neighbors and their delinquent son.
Anyway, there's a lot of online chatter about wireless security, but what's this sub's assessment of wireless KB's though? Anecdata from people with 10 acre properties + friendly neighbors prly ain't that useful for others in my situation, but any opinions welcome regardless haha
So if I use bluetoothctl to set discoverable: no and pairable: no, they stay off normally, but opening settings > bluetooth immediately turns both back on (the BT toggle even explicitly says “this system is visible as [computer name] while BT settings is open”).
The actual issue is that closing the BT window doesn't restore the previous state, so the system remains discoverable and pairable. Is this intended, and also are there any plans for a discoverability toggle in the GUI?
I already have api keys for my torbox, tmdb, tvdb, and mdblist setup with my fortheweak AIOStreams for myself. I'm kind of lazy though and don't want to set it up twice for a family member, so could I just attach my AIOStreams instance to their stremio account and somehow have it show them a different watch history+library and all of that? It'll be annoying getting their shows mixed up with mine, and especially annoying since they're not tech savvy, so I don't want to have to troubleshoot two different addon setups + api setups.
Sometimes I go for a while without watching anime, and it'd be nice to be able to scroll further back than just a single week for all episode releases for all anime.
Might be a silly question, but I added an AIOS instance to my stremio that I decide not to use and I was curious if I can remove my info from it (and instances for other addons too I guess). I'm assuming not since I don't see the option anywhere.
The official elfhosted youtube channel has a video on setting up an AIOstreams via the elfhost instance, and he says to use scrapers from someone else besides elfhosted, that way an elfhosted outage doesn't cause both AIOstreams & the scrapers to all go down together. However, wouldn't the AIOstreams going down cause the scrapers to not work, or did I misunderstand completely?
I'm in the process of updating her to the new stuff (torbox, AIOstreams, etc) since I haven't touched it in over a year and RD died, and figured I'd see if there's a way to hide dead links for her. She gets frustrated trying 15 links just to find something that's already downloaded, so is there a way to hide this stuff?
