We need a word for the chicken nuggets and mac & cheese crowd

Now we all know that chicken nuggets and mac & cheese are delicious, I'm not trying to suggest otherwise. I'm talking about the very specific subset of people that have this childish, "I don't wanna!" mindset that think it's perfectly fine to eat the same baby ass dopamine rush junk week in and week out while forsaking the notion that vegetables are even edible and acting like being made to ingest anything with some god damn nutrients in it violates the Geneva Convention.

"Picky eaters" is the go-to but fails on a few levels because it also encompasses normal children, people with high standards for their food instead of garbage standards, and people who are just regular old non-adventurous and boring.

"Childish eaters" is close but fails on the level that people who have more normal and diverse diets, but also have a smattering of 'immature' foods mixed in, can be labeled it as well. Like a guy who can eat a caprese salad just fine but then will have Fun Dip or a Flintstones Push-Up Pop for dessert.

"Manbaby" I think most hones in on the foundational issue, but also fails to specify the exact phenomena. Like I would call that cop guy from Andor a 'manbaby' also but in a grown mama's boy way and could see him eating whatever healthy food his mom told him to.

I just think it would be easier if we had a way to specify this sort of person so we can speak to the issues involved without the discourse devolving into semantics and deflections.

For context, the image is a character in a Key & Peele skit who has his own microwave frozen pizza while his family is eating a completely inoffensive meal of chicken, rice, and broccoli.

Favorite villain team with this feel:

What's your favorite villain team with that "Me and the boys 'bouta roll up and empty out the Slurpee machine" sorta vibe?

Zenkai Boost would be near useless IRL

This is pertaining to the various "Which powerset would you pick?" and red pill/blue pill questions on here. Whenever a Saiyan character or lineage is up for grabs, the Zenkai Boost is put forth in responses as an enticing draw or even the most important factor in choosing. "Well you have to think about the potential with increases from Zenkai Boosts...", "A Kryptonian with Zenkai Boost would go crazy!", etc.

But if we're talking about transplanting these powers onto someone in the real world, how likely is it that one would even ever receive a Zenkai Boost? It's like people are just considering it as 'free power upgrade' without factoring the, you know, *near death experience*. We don't have Senzu beans or bacta tanks or white mages in reality to repair our bodies quickly, you'd end up in traction for months.

And that's looking past the fact that if you get beaten bad enough to get a Zenkai Boost, you have *messed up royally*. Whatever or whoever put you in that state, they are either about to kill you, or lock you up FOREVER and cut you up for science. You're not going to be dealing with some narcissistic supervillain that monologues and plays around out here.

So basically I just think it's almost a non-factor when you think about it rationally.

Riddick runs a gauntlet

Richard B. Riddick with every bladed weapon he wielded across all his movies, faces off against these six opponents in order with a fresh start at full health every fight. Battleground is the crumbling ruins of a quickly abandoned major U.S. city overtaken by wildlife with standard day/night cycle, starting at high noon each fight, 300 yards apart from each other.

  1. Kazuo Kiriyama (Battle Royale) armed with all the weapons he collected during the death game

  2. Ash Williams (Evil Dead) end of Evil Dead 2/Beginning of Army of Darkness

  3. Snake Plissken (Escape from New York/L.A.) with his L.A. loadout

  4. Aragorn Son of Arathorn (Lord of the Rings) with Anduril the Flame of the West

  5. Indominus Rex (Jurassic World)

  6. Bane (DC Comics) on Venom era

Can he go the distance?
