Is it just me, or does everyone in their early 20s feel like they are just winging it every single day?

Ek side academic pressure, doosri side career ka tension, aur upar se aadhi cheezein toh out of control lagti hain. Sab log aise act kar rahe hain jaise unki life sorted hai, par honestly, is anyone actually knowing what they are doing, ya sab meri tarah bas chalaye jaa rahe hain?

Documents to collect from college 2026 Batch?

Hey guys,

Since the B.Tech 2026 batch is finally passing out, I want to make sure I get all my paperwork sorted before leaving so I don't have to make endless trips back to the admin office later.

Could seniors or recent grads share a definitive checklist of the documents we must collect?

Here is what I have on my radar so far:

Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC)

Consolidated Marksheet (along with all 8 individual semester marksheets)

Character Certificate

Migration Certificate

I have a few specific doubts:

Migration Certificate: Does the college hand this over directly, or do we have to generate a token and apply for it online via the AKTU Student ERP portal?

Final Degree: Since the actual degree comes after the university convocation, does AKTU mail it straight to our home address/DigiLocker, or will I need to collect it from the college next year?

TC vs. Migration: Is a Transfer Certificate (TC) still required if we already have an official Migration Certificate?

Clearance: Any pro-tips for surviving the legendary "No Dues" clearance process without losing my mind?

If I'm missing any crucial documents (like transcripts for higher studies), please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Received Full Stack Data Engineer – DataBricks stream at Accenture. How is it in terms of projects, demand, and career growth?

Hi everyone,

I am AASE fresher and recently received the Full Stack Data Engineer – Databricks stream as part of my onboarding at Accenture.
I was initially hoping for a Fs Gen AI-related stream, but I got assigned to Databricks.

I wanted to hear from people who are currently working in this stream or have worked on Databricks projects.

A few questions:

  • How is the demand for Databricks projects within Accenture?
  • How long do people usually stay on the bench in this stream?
  • What kind of work do freshers typically get?
  • Does the role mainly involve SQL/Azure, or is there actual development as well?

I'd really appreciate any honest experiences or advice from people in this domain.

[2026 Batch] Can I change my assigned Base Location before Onboarding? Need advice (Pros & Cons)

Hi everyone,

I’m a 2026 batch AASE selected through on-campus placements. I recently finished my Primers and am currently waiting for my DOJ.

During the process, I was assigned Jaipur, but my preferred base location is Gurgaon.

I want to request a base location change before my onboarding is finalized. I've heard mixed reviews on whether Accenture actually allows this, so I wanted to ask the community for advice and whom to contact for the same.

Here is how I am looking at the Pros and Cons of requesting a change right now. Please correct me if my understanding is wrong:

Pros of requesting the change NOW (Before Onboarding):

  • Avoiding the Lock-in: I've heard that once you join, there is a strict 18 to 24-month lock-in period before you can even request a transfer.
  • No Relocation Hassle: I can avoid the massive headache (and expense) of finding a flat, paying a deposit, and settling into a new city just to try and transfer out a year later.
  • Better initial project mapping: Getting my preferred base location now means I get mapped to projects native to that location from Day 1.

Cons / Risks of requesting the change NOW:

  • Delayed DOJ: I am worried that asking for a change will push my onboarding date to a later phase if there is no immediate "business demand" in my preferred location.
  • The "HR Trap": I’ve read stories here where HR says, "Just accept the offer now and we will change it later," but the approval gets rejected after joining.
  • Offer Risk: Is there any scenario where being stubborn about the location could lead to them revoking the offer entirely?

My Questions for Seniors/Previous Batches:

  1. Is it actually possible to get the location changed before the DOJ is issued?
  2. Who exactly should I be emailing right now? (Since the onboarding HR hasn't contacted us yet, do I reach out to the recruitment/campus team?)
  3. Is it worth the risk of a delayed joining, or should I just go to the assigned location and pray for a transfer later?

Any guidance or personal experiences would be a lifesaver. Thanks in advance!

[2026 Batch] Accenture AASE Onboarding Timeline – What happens after Primers?

Hey guys,

I was selected for the AASE role at Accenture via on-campus placements in December. I recently finished my Primers (selected Python, MySQL, and Azure), also that Delivery Fundamentals also completed but it's been radio silence since then regarding the actual onboarding.

For folks familiar with the current pipeline:

  1. Timeline: Roughly how long does it take for them to reach out with DOJ or onboarding details after completing the Primers and Delivery Fundamentals?
  2. Next Steps: Are there any further pre-joining assessments (like a Primer assessment) or stream trainings I need to clear before officially joining?

Trying to figure out if I should be prepping for another exam or just waiting for the "Gear up for Day 1" mail. Any insights would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
