If you didn't know, there is a group of investors called 3DIP(3d Investment Partners) who are aggressively buying Square Enix stock year over year in an attempt to gain enough majority to dispose the current board.(Which Yoshi P is a part of) They have been actively going have SE stock since December 2025.

Unfortunately 3DIP is a hedgefund manager corp and frequently has companies sold over to Private Equity firms which as we know, strip assets out of their acquisition and leave companies in shambles to make short term profit.

When MMORPGs are bought up by Priv Eq groups, they tend to go free to play and become heavily predatory. That's not even to say anything of what would happen to the FF IP as a whole.

Really hoping this doesn't come to pass, but I figured people should be aware of it.

Edit: People in the comments who are smarter than myself in financial world have let us know that while they have been aggressively buying stock year over year, they don't have the volume or momentum to take them over at this point. Square Enix is safe from a direct takeover at this point, especially with how well they have been performing recently and with the profits expected from both Evercold and FF7R3. However, they owned a similar proportion of Fuji Soft and Toshiba when they pushed them to accept foreign private bids. So it is tough to say.

• If you queue into a Sol pub as any class but ranger, you rarely get a ranger.

• If you queue into a sol pub as ranger, you almost always have a second or third ranger in the team.

This is the way of this world.
