Anyone tried e-kickstands on cargo bikes? Worth it or just a gimmick?

So my wife had a bad experience with our cargo bike last week, when she was pulling over to park in our home with our 2 year old on the back (and grocceries on the side). Like when she was stopping she tried to kick the kickstand down holding the bike upright and it tipped. The weight shifted and she couldnt hold it. Our son was strapped in and was totally fine (thank-God), I mean he was kinda laughing, but she has really shaken up. Doesnt want to ride since. The thing is she loves the bike when shes actually riding. Its just stopping and starting thats the problem. The bike with kid and cargo is probably 60-70kg total and wrestling that while trying to kick a manual kickstand down when stopping is genuinely hard, especially for her since shes shorter and cant get full leverage.

We talked about just practicing more and lowering the seat so she can plant her feet better. But I also started looking into whether theres a better solution for the kickstand itself. And I came across e-kickstands that deploy automatically without having to wrestle the bike down. Like you press a button or something and it just goes down on its own while you hold the handlebars. Has anyone here actually tried something like that? Does it genuinely help?
