Looking for free sources of AOAC methods

Good day! I'm gonna do a method validation and I've been told by my professor to use AOAC as my source. I'm having trouble finding a free source (college undergrad) of the methods and I'm wondering if there is any of it out there, even old ones. Do I really need to pay for it or request access from AOAC itself?

Favourite GCOSY graph

Hi! When we were learning about 2D NMR I really found the GCOSY graphs pretty and I thought they'd look really good embroidered on a plain white zip up I have. Does anyone have a favourite graph they've seen? Hopefully one that isn't too complicated as I'm at best an average embroiderer hahaha

Memory card error from newly bought sandisk sd card

Hello, recently bought a 128gb sandisk sd card for an old canon powershot sx520. I was gonna try it out but it kept popping up "memory card error" every time i opened it. I've cleaned it, checked for damage, formatted it, and even double checked the pins in the camera but it's all fine. I tried to use the old SD card it came with (an 8gb one) and that was completely fine. What should I do?

The scientific side of art restoration

Hi! I'm in my senior year of college and I'm planning to do my thesis around art restoration/conservation and I was wondering if anyone has resources/insights about that field. I want to focus on the analysis or conservation of paintings, so I've mostly been looking into pigment analysis and fiber/wood analysis but I'd like to hear if there's more about the field than that! I just want to hear more about it as my future goal is to be an art conservator and I want to hear about that world from people who deal with the more analytical side of it.

Making a more efficient dynamic dropdown that changes based on the value of another cell

Hello! I made this dynamic dropdown where the list would change based on the Main Task chosen but how I did it was inefficient and not really fit for expansion.

The idea is that, if you choose Task 1 in the Main Task column, the dropdowns in the sub task column would accordingly change to Sub-Tasks under Task 1 like so

https://preview.redd.it/3xmlue6zhd5h1.png?width=1071&format=png&auto=webp&s=5894be162f09ebe758977d9b5a8861de0c312464

https://preview.redd.it/dy31qra1id5h1.png?width=1054&format=png&auto=webp&s=387b4d105b4ab0a50d3ed95bbbc37df59ae41da1

https://preview.redd.it/t17nez84id5h1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=f9039bd3f553a9fd2834b3d6687c9d478a436fb9

I made this by making Sheet 1 with the categorization of tasks which will get filtered in Sheet 3. So here's my data to be filtered

https://preview.redd.it/31hy0ythhd5h1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=44ec81153515fec4646eabdb8b02b4ccf7de8085

And this is how I filtered them (transposed purely because I wanted an easy way to copy them down the column) in Sheet 3

https://preview.redd.it/c2hi7gaaid5h1.png?width=1067&format=png&auto=webp&s=f6d51bf8ac6fb994c9c1d368673a061ec03e6ccd

If I just used this for data validation, the list will populate with blanks. So I made another sheet (Sheet 4) to filter it again and only come out with non-blank cells

https://preview.redd.it/291azxofid5h1.png?width=693&format=png&auto=webp&s=d4c7b0fcb17c6d02c891fafcb9b31b6cc6f62bc2

This time, this one is transposed to make it easier for my data validation since I have it set up as this

https://preview.redd.it/6m4f7nfomd5h1.png?width=1645&format=png&auto=webp&s=4cecb31aa097d2233f6d1ef916557bdca4b5d2ba

And, as I had shown at the start, it worked! My problem though is that this is all very convoluted and if I expand the table in Sheet 1 it means I'll have to manually input my formulas from Sheet 4 [=TRANSPOSE(FILTER(Sheet3!A1:Z1,Sheet3!A1:Z1<>""))] per column. Similarly, I'm wondering if there's a more efficient way of filtering out the blanks from the data without having to create another filter to keep out the blank values.

Excel's IF function continuing through to the FALSE formula despite being TRUE

Hello! Having an interesting issue with my excel's IF function. Even after the formula parses the logical test as TRUE, it still goes ahead and enacts whatever function I have for the FALSE portion. I exported this xlsx from gsheets where it was working perfectly fine but in excel it was having this odd issue. Is it a settings issue with my excel or what? I'm not entirely sure what's causing this.

Estimating number of element from Mass Spectrometry Graph

Hello! I'm confused on how to answer this question. I'm aware I have to use the ([M+1]/[M])*(100*[M+1%]) but I'm not entirely sure what [M+1]% I'm supposed to use. We had values for C, H, O, and N, and I got 0.71, 49, 19, and 2 respectively when I plugged them in the formula. I'm pretty lost what to do here since most other examples I see use molar mass to compute these things.
