Why does my hair part on the side of my head

Like i dont understand like is it my hairline or something. Like why does my hair part on the side of my head at my temples. When i was first growing my hair it it would genuinely part into three sections at my temples. So i decided to flip my hair to stop that. My face is oily so it might be contributing to but at the same time what am i gonna do to stop it. I genuinely have no idea what to do with my hair. Like im tired of constantly flipping my hair to hide my hair parting.

Cigarette burns

One night I got drunk with friends and it somehow got brought up that i should put out a cigarette on my arm (I know billy badass right?). So I did and it was like actually felt really good. Felt like i had control over something yk? So a couple weeks go by and i have two dots on my arm. I look at my hand and i have a tattoo on my finger of a heart and i fucking hate it. So guess what i did, i grabbed a cigarette and tried to burn it off, didnt work but the adrenaline was good. But now all the sudden when im upset I just grab a cigarette and just do what I got to do. does anyone else find themselve using cigarettes or self immolation for self harm? Im getting all these rod dots all up and down my arms and i feel like people are gonna think its domestic abuse or something.
