Finished the show for the first time

What a ride it has been - this show went straight to number two on the list of my favorite shows ever. And just as Dark will always be no. 1, I kind of doubt anything will be able to rob 12 Monkeys of its place up there ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I loved the movie in the 90s, but I‘ve always read kind of mixed reviews for the series. It‘s not available for streaming where I live (or at least not on the streamers for which I have a subscription), so I hesitated to buy all the BluRays. Finally asked for them last Christmas and… why didn’t I just watch this years ago? It‘s amazing! It‘s exciting, it‘s funny, it‘s heart-breaking, it‘s mind-bending…

I‘m giving it my highest honor - I‘ll create all of the main characters in Sims and give them a nice, boring, happy, time-travel-free life (that still will have an end some day)

Any Dark Fans here?

I‘m terrible at creating Sims that look like someone, but starting in 1986, I‘m finally going to make them all happy. No time travel allowed :)

Stupid question time! How to add these markings?

In sudoku.coach, how can I add the colorings like that? The 7nis blue so the 9 is yellow? I can only fill the whole cell with color or add dots, but they don‘t cover a single number either. I‘m using an Ipad and open the site in my browser.

2026 is my year of finishing my oldest UFOs (May edition)

The craziest thing I‘ve ever knit! Hopefully the craziest thing I ever will knit! Started in 2018, when I made three squares for the front and a few rows of the upper back.
Look at all the beads! And the braids, with and without beads. And the beaded (obviously 🤪) pompoms! The embroidery! The shisha mirrors! The decorative and the real buttons! The colors! The camels!
Also, some bonus Pepsi photos 🐈‍⬛ and a weird camera trick on our armchair 🤷‍♀️
The designer is a super tight knitter, I‘m a very, very loose knitter. So I used needle sizes between 1.0 and 1.75 mm (US 5/0 to 00) with worsted weight yarn for this 😂
Pattern: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/mystery-cushion-2018
Yarn: Rowan Handknit Cotton

Yes, one of the squares I made in 2018 has single beads instead of double beads, but that was a good mistake to make because otherwise I wouldn’t have had enough black beads in my kit (more than enough beads in the other colors though to replace them with)

Pre-2003, historical setting, rich merchant warned by an old beggar, time-loop

Trying again after some time…

Looking for a pre-2003 novel (probably 80s/90s). Historical/oriental setting, maybe Middle East/Egypt/Persia. A wealthy man hosts a feast where an old beggar warns him he will lose everything. Supernatural female beings/demons/djinn threaten him; a protection spell requires him not to sleep with his wife for one night, but he fails because of desire. He gradually loses everything and becomes old, poor and sick. Near death he begs a demon/devil for another chance and is sent back in time — becoming the old beggar who warned his younger self at the beginning.

I read this in the late 90ies, definitely before 2003. Probably a paperback, maybe it was originally German (I am from Germany), maybe not

Elizabeth Zimmermann‘s January Aran Sweater, started in 2018… I stopped because I was terrified of the steeking involved. Now that it‘s done, I think there‘s nothing where I couldn‘t find a better method and I don‘t think it‘s a shape that suits me well, I prefer my set-in-sleeves and no steeking. But it‘s done. Been there, done that, probably won‘t do it ever again. Pattern link: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/an-aran-sweater-january, worked in Cascade 220 Worsted
