Appetite for Destruction
Every single time my father gets really confused and aggressive, he sits in his recliner and pounds on his side table all......day........long.
Sundays are always the worst.
Welp, you showed that thing who's boss.
Man with a window
This was first obtained about 20 years ago. It was to be made into a picture window and wall ornament. The project never manifested.
I've not seen this old window since 2016 when it disappeared....until this morning. Where does my father find this shit?
Help paying for transportation
Need some help getting to a doctor's appointment on Thursday. I've already rescheduled once. My aunt who is usually my transportation has a doctor's appointment the same day so she is unable to take me.
The office is 50 minutes away. All my friends have jobs. My neighbor said she would take me for $50. I'm in NC.
I am requesting $50 and have Cashapp.
Thank you in advance.
Cats and eyes
No, I'm not talking about felines. I'm talking about cataracts.

Years ago, my father had cateract surgery, post care wasn't administered properly. He was scheduled to have the eye done a month later but was scared to death of as he was in fear of being blind.

Many months later, he took off his glasses and wadded (not folded) them up and tossed them in the garbage. 2 pair later, he kept doing the same thing. Basically he could see better without them. His eye had healed.

I have cateracts in both eyes and my left eye is completely useless and has been since January. It's a level 5. My right eye cateract progress is now at level 4 and I have 25% "vision in it".

I have surgery on the left in 2 days, the other in 30.

I take care of my father everyday to the best of my ability and that ability is narrow.

Do not neglect or shrug off your LO's eyeballs.

Dear Moderators
I know you're busy but there are 5 of you.
I've suggested Automod before and was ignored. You were fore warned.
You weren't kidding
Many, many, many a moon ago, as a child, my brother and I were given chores any given day either by Mom, Dad or both.
It was a Saturday and I watch my friends ride by on their bicycles yelling at me and waving me own as they pass by the house.
Dad had given me stuff to do so when detail is given, detail was a must do.
I rushed but I did what I was told to do albeit a little sloppy I'm sure. After the tasks where done, I rushed to the doorway of my father's woodshop.
He turned off the tablesaw and looked at me inquisitively. I simply said: "I've finished, do you need me any more"?
He skipped not a beat but said "Son, I'll always need you". I drew a blank. He noticed and said "Go play"
Nowadays, almost daily, he will ask "can you help me"?
You betcha buddy.
I'm curious as to what they do for a dementia patient.
What leads to "safe release".
What was the circumstances they were placed there to begin with.
Thanks in advance.
