I’ve been struggling with making a character for a PTU campaign I’m in. I’m a very writing and acting focused player so I tend to dwell on finding the perfect character concept. I’d love to hear any ideas that I can potentially build off of!
I’ve been struggling real hard with finding a style that truly suits me. I am incredibly tender headed and the last time I got a retwist was almost a year ago so I’m terrified to try doing it myself. The year is 2014, the party are seniors in High School and are close to graduating. As a reward for their hard work, they are being taken on a Senior Trip to camp out in the woods for a few days. This once simple and fun trip is transformed into an oddity when the party is lured into a mysterious location with all kinds of biomes that don’t follow our world’s logic. Hello there! I’m Nyx and I will be DMing this Digimon Campaign, also known as Digimon Legends: Under My Thumb. This campaign dips into multiple different genres with action adventure, horror, and comedy. It is very narrative heavy as it uses a modified version of the Kids On Bikes Digi-Destiny module. With a heavy narrative, I do expect character writing, interactions, and bonds to be put at the forefront. As for me, I’ll be guiding you through this long term story with its many twists and turns. The closest thing to its general vibe is something like Deltarune as it is inspired in multiple ways by it. I’m currently looking for 2-3 players for this campaign. The recruiting process will likely be complete within a few weeks to within the next month. I hope to see any of you and I’m very excited to run for you guys! I recently began working on a character by the name of Rai. Rai’s life has a major theme of them following the many expectations of others. From their father’s expectations of them getting married, to their friends expecting them to date a girl that he was close friends with, to their father again expecting him to participate in traditionally masculine activities such as football. He was once close to a guy by the name of Vincent and ended up falling in love, however he never pursued the relationship further because of the fact that he feared going against the expectations that were placed onto him. He always had a love of feminine things and always wanted to dress feminine but never expressed this desire publicly. So overall, with this backstory in mind, should he come out as gay or trans?
The month and year is October 1999, it’s a fairly bland and simple stretch of time. The most exciting thing for the future will be the turning of the millennium.
