New crack appeared between front door and living room door. What could have caused it and should I be worried?There are a few very minor cracks around the ceilings but none as thick as this one.

I'm currently doing an animal management IvI3 btec and have genuinely enjoyed the course however I've seen how underpaid/overworked people in the animal sector are.As much as I have a passion for wildlife conservation, I don't want to spend 4 years of my life studying just to struggle to get a job that'll barely get me by.
I feel like I've dug myself a bit of a hole doing a college course I liked without thinking of my future.Are there any degrees I could pivot into that pay decently?
