Hey everyone, I’d like to get some opinions on the lockup of my Sebenza 31.

From the lockbar position, it looks like it’s engaging around 80–90%.

Does this look normal for a Sebenza 31 based on the photos, or would you consider this unusually late lockup?
There’s no noticeable blade play or lock slip. I’m mainly wondering whether this amount of lockbar travel is within normal CRK spec and whether I should just use it as-is or contact CRK.

I used to have a GW-B5600HR — loved the strap, but honestly it was tough to read the time on it 😅. This new one is super legible, and stays clear from multiple angles too.

One question for everyone: I need dual time zone functionality, but right now it always displays two world times at once, plus local time — that’s three times shown together, which feels cluttered. Is there a way to show just two? In the app I can only set two separate world time zones.

Also, any recommendations for a metal/chain bracelet for this model?

Quick rundown of what I've got: XM-18, Sebenza 31, PM2, Para 3, 940, Bugout 535BK-4, and a few others. But the one I actually reach for and carry day in, day out is my PM2 in S45VN. Here's why:

• G10 scales. If it gets scratched, I genuinely don't care. I'm just not a fan of the worn look on metal handles.
• S45VN is easy to sharpen and holds a good enough working edge for everyday stuff. Low maintenance, gets the job done. (Magnacut is the GOAT — but S45VN does 90% of the job for a lot less money, and that's good enough for me.)
• I love the PM2's profile, and the one-handed deployment is just so satisfying.
• And let's be honest, Spyderco has done a ton for the knife industry. But the biggest thing for me: with the PM2, the price I pay is the price of the knife and the cheapest one. No extra premium baked in.

The really expensive ones feel like I'm paying for a lot of "added value" on top of the actual tool, and they shed a chunk of that the second I put them to work. So those mostly stay home. I'd rather keep them in hand to admire than beat them up and watch them depreciate.

So two questions for you all: what's your go-to EDC, and how do you feel about pricey knives? Do you actually carry and use them, or do they end up as safe queens?

I'm in Winnipeg, Canada and just found two monarch eggs on the underside of common milkweed leaves. I cut the small sections of leaf with the eggs on them and brought them inside.

I placed a paper towel at the bottom and sprayed it with some water. Is there anything else I need to do? I'm really worried this leaf will wilt.
