Can I clone my 250gb HDD to another 250gb hdd

I've got a really old mod on my Xbox 1.6, I think it's from 2006 with the Splinter Cell mod.
The modder warned me to keep the old 8gb drive because a mechanical hdd can just stop working one day.

My question is, what if I clone that drive through terminal? Would that work or is it smarter to remod the Xbox and zero out the hdd key?

Hi all, I'm having issues with my PS4 controller.
It just stopped working the other day.
Things I've tried so far are:
Charging it upsidedown on the PS4.
Reset the controller.
Turn of the PS4, wait 2 hours and connect the controller again.
Replace the battery.

So far no luck, do you peeps know something else I should check?
