Csináltam egy Android appot, ami egy ételfotóból megbecsüli a szénhidrátot (T1D-s vagyok, Flutter + ASP.NET Core)

Sziasztok!

Bármit kézzel is beírhatsz.
  • Napló, napi keret, heti és havi statisztika, CSV-export. Fiók nélkül is működik, a napló a telefonon marad.

A becslés becslés, tévedhet, ezért mentés előtt érdemes átnézni. Nem orvostechnikai eszköz. Egyelőre csak Androidra van.

Nagyon örülnék a visszajelzéseteknek az appról. Kérdésekre szívesen válaszolok.

[Half-Life 2] Gravity gun vs Minecraft blocks: each one is a real physics prop with its own weight and sound (modded)

Recorded this myself. These are Minecraft blocks pulled out of builds with the gravity gun. Each one turns into a real Source physics object, and how heavy it feels and what it sounds like depends on the material: wood is light and knocks like wood, glass clinks. HL2's own crate shows up in the middle for comparison.

The mod is HalfCraft by whiskydumb (built on chasmlol's SkyCraft), real Minecraft running alongside HL2. The gravity gun part is from my fork.

I made a small local batch TTS tool for ElevenLabs scripts

I usually had trouble with text over ~500 characters. Even when the generation started well, the end would often get quieter or less consistent, so I usually had to split longer scripts into smaller chunks manually.

I also needed my speech files organized into actual script segments: hook, intro, main points, outro, etc. Doing that manually in the ElevenLabs UI got repetitive fast, especially when I wanted multiple takes of each chunk.

So I made a small local web app called Vox Batch.

It lets you upload a .txt file like this:

  # Hook
  Text here...

  # Main
  More text here...

  # Outro
  Closing text here...

Then it:

  • splits the text into chunks,
  • lets you select/edit segments,
  • generates multiple takes per chunk,
  • names the files cleanly,
  • downloads everything as a ZIP,
  • optionally includes a manifest.json.

Also, if you set the limit, let's say to 500, it never splits the script mid-sentence; it always makes sure to have full sentences.

It uses your own ElevenLabs API key and runs locally in your browser. Your API key is sent only to the local Python server so it can make ElevenLabs API requests. The app does not store it in settings.json or write it to disk, though your browser’s password manager may save it if you allow that.

Important limitation: because this uses the API, every generation costs credits. The ElevenLabs web app may give you a couple of free regenerations for the same speech, but that does not apply through the API. So if you generate 3 takes of a chunk, that is 3 API generations.

It currently supports the usual TTS models, including Eleven v3 through the normal single-speaker TTS API.

If you're interested, please check it out; it's completely free and open-source.

You just need to download the ZIP, unzip it, and if you are on Windows, you can just click on the .bat file; it will start the app and open a browser window.

Do you think the game is overusing fog?

I do not think fog, storms, spores, or bad visibility are bad by themselves.

In the right amount, they can make missions feel more tense, atmospheric, and cinematic.

My issue is that Helldivers 2 feels like it stacks too many visibility blockers too often now, especially on some Terminid missions and certain planet types.

So the problem, to me, is that it stops feeling like a special modifier and starts feeling like a constant layer of haze, spores, dust, and weather all at once.

That is when it stops being immersive and starts feeling tiring, harder to read, and sometimes just plain annoying.

Do you think the game is leaning too hard on low visibility now, or do you think it is still in a good place?

I made a longer video on it here if anyone wants the full breakdown: https://youtu.be/VrPo8BDKlHM
