Worth upgrading or am I good?

Hello.

I got a pre-built PC 2 years ago for Christmas. Recently I switched from my old 1080p monitor to 1440p one, and didn't have any problems for now. What I noticed later is that 8GB VRAM ain't much for new games, but I rarely buy one. Since hardware gets more and more expensive, I thought about some upgrades that could be worth investing in for the future, before it becomes inaccessible.

I'm no expert in hardware, so that's why I came here. I've been recently looking for higher VRAM GPU, took interest in RTX 4070. One more thing: I'm not the type of guy who can't live without ultra+ settings, path tracing and DLSS with 120+FPS

Build:

- MB: TUF Gaming A520M-PLUS

- CPU: Ryzen 5 5500

- GPU: RTX 4060

- HDD: Samsung SSD 980 1TB

- RAM: 32GB DDR4

You can have DD at home!

[This is just a recommendation, not AD]

If you want to play less complex DD with your close ones at home, and you happen to live in Central Europe, then I really recommend you try Karak!

This board game shares a lot with DD: heroes with unique abilities, dungeon exploration, inventory management, status that screws you over, and expansions.

Funny enough, both games have sequels that made similar gameplay changes.

Although it might not be for the strict difficulty/grimdark enjoyers, since it's much easier, I believe you'll enjoy it; I certainly did.

Also, you can get miniatures for you to paint!

Ranking OP characters if they recieved the nightmare form

[WARNING!]

This ranking is very simplified, I didn't want to write a whole essay

Nightmare Flowey, Sans, Bendy... I bet they'd all be overpowered. But if these infamous OP characters did recieve the nightmare form, there might be nothing to stop them.

I if I was to rank them, it'd be like this:

  1. Pilgor - Indestructible, physics breaking and can even enter the real world in just her base form, imagine the nightmare upgrade...

  2. Solgryn - Besides being a tough boss itself, it has aid from other videogame characters, with nightmare mode, it could summon even more OP characters. Speedruners should ready the rope

  3. Super Peasant - With access to the whole TABS roster, there's nothing stopping them from cloning themself infinitely... if the reality doesn't collapse before that happens

  4. T H E T I M E W I Z Z A R D - Not much his known about him, but time manipulation is the second strongest ability in fiction, nightmare form would just amplify it

  5. The One Who Waits: He'd become the absolute ruler of death

ISTP's, If any of you play Chaos in Warhammer, which faction have you sworn your allegiance to and why?

I choose undivided because it's the most flexible one, but if I had to choose based on preference, it'd be Khorne > Nurgle > Slaanesh > Tzeentch

Edit: My personal favourite army are the Iron Warriors

Cameo Idea

I know it won't happen, and I'm not suggesting it becomes real. It's just my idea of a small cameo, since this lil guy used to be an icon and is responsible for traumatizing an entire generation during the golden age of Flash games.

ISTP's, what are your "Super Powers"?

Hello. I noticed that I have some sort of "Super Powers", which I had ever since as a kid.

So, I was wondering: What are yours?

My poweres:

  1. Chaos Aura: Everywhere I go, unforseen consequences happen. Be that something breaking, someone dying, or just things making no sense

  2. Rage Aura: It's common I REALLY piss of people unintentionally. It can be because of simple greeting, question or suggestion

  3. I have a great orientation and visual learning skills

  4. (Un)luckiness: Avoiding death scenarios is Tuesday for me, but doing mundane things without something messing up? Nah.

And the best part? I don't have to do ANYTHING at all.
