Two things can be true at the same time - balancing for trio's & solos

I come from dark and darker. For those who don't know, it is a gritty-styled swords and magic extraction game with classes inspired by D&D, it prides itself on accurate and slower gameplay style between fights. A complete opposite of Mistfall.

Onto my main discussion, I already see it becoming a major talking point as a few times it was brought pass week.

A game can be made for trio's

A game can have overpowered classes that excel at solo's

You can say it's made for Trio's but still be balanced for solo's which most players will try for many reasons.

Funnily enough, we also had rogue problems that excelled at Solo's but sucked in Trio's. Eventually, eventually it was "balanced" but discussion doesn't help anyone if it ends up being Trio's vs Solos!

Building Religion - which ones to use and not?

I made a previous post yesterday about how important or how much is it a priority to build your religion and the theme was if it's aligns with your goals then you should + faith generation is always important overall.

https://www.reddit.com/r/civ5/comments/1tujucn/building_religion_is_it_a_priority/

So, my next question is what pantheon to avoid and which ones are best, secret info because the descriptions don't match what it says such as "Fertility rites only applies the boost to a net positive if we have 10 food in our city etc.," which I just learned from asking the question yesterday

It would be great to know which ones are usually best and which ones to avoid?

Thanks!

Building Religion - is it a priority?

I play with my friends and single player (King, or Emperor).
Though, I was super into religion when I first began Civ 5 years ago but lately I've haven't tried it at all or given it much thought.

My question is "How much of a priority is it?"

Depends on the civ, starting location, or is it always a plus to have and focus on for the boost it gives for the entire game?

Abundant resources

Me and my buddies have been playing with the abundant resources, no complaints at all.

The only reason is because some of us had absolutely no luxury resources sometimes or one strategic resource nearby compared to other players throughout the entire playthrough (Bad spawns)

Now, everyone has leverage lol

Any settings you guys try that works for you?

This guy has 0 viewers, but he must pay artist over hundreds of dollars!

As time passes, it is more blatant that this is just the classic "Old man yelling at kids from his lawn".

How dare a streamer with no income from streaming use a tool to help achieve his vision on what he wants his twitch page to look instead of paying for multiple artist to make the "banner, emotes, pfp, end of stream page etc.," that'll probably cost over hundreds, hundreds of dollars and months of time.
