Sahara Desert dust Florida heat

We’ve been having this crazy heat going on this week in Florida. They say it’s dust from the Sahara desert that’s over Florida. You can’t see it or anything but it’s causing us not to have the afternoon rain which cools things for a bit.
The thermostat is set at 76/77 degrees. But it shows the current temp at 80 degrees. It cools down around 9pm. Should I raise my thermostat to 79 and then gradually bring it down? Or leave it at 77.

14k gold chain.

We’ve been buying our gold chains from GemPacked, rio, Stuller. Ross metal and kamal and riva seem to carry the same stuff. Does anyone have someone else they recommend? Looking for smaller size stuff, 1.2-2.5mm in all 3 gold options. Extra credit if you have any leads on where the Ross and Kamal might source directly because they have the same exact speciality chains.

Game changer

This little water spritzer saved my marriage. Hahah. My wife hated how much coffee grinds everywhere. Someone suggested this and it’s been night and day.

Collection found in closet.

My wife’s grandfather collected most of things. Basketball cards were some. We found this box in a box we were given. Should I download one of those apps and get a ballpark estimate and then try an offload the whole thing at a Local card shop or a convention? We’re on the Orlando area. So there’s always decent conventions here.
Half of the left column is Micheal Jordan and Shaw cards.

This is Hardcore. Florida edition.

Hatebreed and Cold World opening. I still can’t justify paying that much for an outdoor hardcore show. That’s one day at FYA.

Shade on my detached garage.

We have a two car detached garage that we use as our office and studio. We’re in central Florida and it’s very hot already. We have a new roof installed last year. We had the ceiling spray foamed. There are two windows that just have wood on them and we are getting new installed. I put those insulation boards up against the doors, open side isn’t used and the other has one over one of the doors.
My wife was looking at installing a sun shade on off the front into the yard. The front door area is facing east and gets direct sun. We want to also add another lattice wall with jasmine on the south side. Any other tips on getting not so hot ? The sun shade is my next project.

Are these super inflated prices ? And this guy and his friends pass around and wear all the pieces and take pics. Then sell for 45K??

Shade sail over garage.

We have a two car detached garage that we work from home. We are in central Florida and it’s very hot. We had a new roof installed, we had the inside spray foamed during the fall. We cut a few big branches that were scary looking over the garage. I’m thinking of installing a sun shade sail over it. Using metal pipes as the posts since it will be tall. Any other suggestions on keeping it cool?

Fly trap. Effective but gross smelling.

We had a fly infestation going on our back porch. We chopped down a bush that they were hanging out. I put one of those fly trap containers and it quickly filled up. I emptied it and it’s filling up. It smells bad. Like really bad. Should I move to another area in the backyard and it will attract them to it or leave near where they were?
