23M | Hyderabad | Looking for someone to make life a little less repetitive 😂

Okay, I've rewritten this post approximately 47 times in my head before actually typing it, so let's just go with it. 😂
I'm 23M from Hyderabad, working as a software developer.
And honestly, life has become a pretty predictable loop lately:
Work → laptop → gym → badminton → food → sleep → repeat.
Nothing terrible about it. I'm actually pretty happy with my life.
But sometimes I catch myself thinking...
"Is this really all I'm going to do after work every day?" 😭
That's probably why I'm here.
I'm looking for a girl who genuinely wants a serious, long-term relationship. Not a casual thing, not a situationship, and not someone to exchange "hey" and "wyd" with for three days before disappearing.
I'd like to eventually find someone I can actually build a life with.
But before we get into the serious stuff, here's what you're getting yourself into. 😂
A little about me
23M | 5'11" | Hindu | Software Developer | Hyderabad
I'm fairly introverted when I first meet someone. I'm not the guy who's going to walk into a room and immediately become friends with everyone.
Give me some time, though, and you'll probably regret it because I can talk way too much once I'm comfortable. 😂
I'm also into fitness and generally try to stay active. I enjoy going to the gym and playing badminton, although some days my biggest workout is convincing myself that I should actually leave my bed.
I also have a cat.
Which means, technically, I don't own a cat.
I simply pay rent in her house. 🐈
Things I genuinely enjoy
🏍️ Late-night bike rides
Probably one of my favourite ways to clear my head.
There's something about being on a bike at night, good music playing, relatively empty roads and absolutely no reason to rush anywhere.
🌄 Travelling
I want to travel much more than I currently do. Mountains, nature, new cities, random weekend trips — I'm pretty much always up for exploring somewhere I've never been.
☕ Café hopping
I like finding new cafés and food places, especially when the alternative is sitting at home wondering what to order for the 700th time.
🎬 Movies & binge-watching
I'm definitely a movie and series person.
If I say "I'll watch just one episode", there's a very good chance I'm lying to both you and myself.
🍥 Anime
Yep, I'm into anime too.
And before you ask — yes, I've probably already heard the "one more episode" excuse. 😂
🇰🇷🇨🇳 K-dramas & C-dramas
And here's where I lose points with the male population:
I actually enjoy K-dramas and C-dramas.
I'm not embarrassed about it either. 😂
So if you're a girl who watches them too, congratulations, we already have something to discuss.
What I'm looking for
I don't really have a strict age requirement.
I'd care much more about compatibility than a number.
What matters to me is finding someone who genuinely wants a committed, long-term relationship and eventually wants to build a life with someone.
Someone who's kind.
Someone who communicates instead of expecting the other person to magically figure everything out.
Someone who puts in effort.
Someone who has her own personality, interests and ambitions.
And someone who can be my partner but also my best friend.
I'd love to have the kind of relationship where we can randomly decide to go somewhere on a weekend, spend an evening exploring cafés, take a long bike ride, travel together, binge-watch something terrible, or simply sit around talking about absolutely nothing.
But I also want someone who's there when things aren't exciting.
Because relationships aren't going to be travelling and sunsets every weekend.
Sometimes it's going to be:
"How was work?"
"Terrible."
"Want food?"
"Yes."
And honestly, that sounds pretty nice too. 😂
I'm not looking for someone perfect.
I'm looking for someone who wants the same kind of relationship and is willing to put in the same amount of effort.
I want us to be able to grow together, support each other's goals, annoy each other just enough to stay interesting, and eventually look back at all the random little things we did together and realise they became some of our favourite memories.
So why Reddit?
Because apparently my current strategy of:
work → go home → repeat
isn't exactly producing impressive romantic results. 😂
And I'm probably not going to randomly approach a girl at a café and say:
"Hi, I'm looking for a life partner. Would you like to discuss our compatibility over coffee?"
So here I am.
If you're a girl from Hyderabad or somewhere close enough for this to realistically work, and you're genuinely looking for a serious, long-term relationship, feel free to say hi.
You can tell me your favourite movie, the last K-drama/C-drama you watched, your favourite travel destination, or just tell me something random about yourself.
I'll take it from there. 😄
And if you actually read this entire thing...
Respect. 😂
Maybe this is just another Reddit post.
Or maybe somewhere between a random conversation, a café, a movie recommendation and a late-night ride...
we find something worth keeping. 🫶
