It wasn't planned; I just didn't get a barcode to scan on my phone, so they sent me to the main desk to get a physical ticket printed out.

Given I'm a 2000's nostalgia nut, as evidenced by the sweater (Red's was a concert venue that Metric played twice at following Old World Underground's release), that's an inconvenience I'll gladly take! ✨️

The show was really awesome too. I was hoping they'd play "Time Is A Bomb", and they did! Combat Baby too 🤟

It's not as good as the first Perfect Dark game, but whatevs', it's still awesome. Probs gonna play it some more tonight.

Yeah, I still have Whalers cards. I miss the Whalers. It won't feel right if those "Hurricanes" win the Stanley Cup.

Forgive the random marks, I was doing some card art on the back side that leaked through the paper. 😅

I plan on doing at least 30 of these Pokémon/Yu-Gi-Oh-style cards, and it will cover entirely characters from the 2003 series. I've got a rough idea for how actual matches would work, and the best short summary I can give is that each match would feel like creating a new Strawberry Shortcake episode, and the character has to "respond" to the others when their card is played.

1994-2026. Really gonna miss this place. It was a solid spot to pick up a ready-to-go lunch without having to go into a grocery store to do so.

I am going to immortalize this shop in the comic I do, with a parody name given to it.

I'm trying to do more Strawberry Shortcake art, but I've also committed to doing a comic with my own art characters so it's difficult. At the very least, I decided to draw two sets of five Strawberry figurines in the latest one!

Both sets (80's and 2003) contain Strawberry, Orange Blossom, Blueberry Muffin, and Angel Cake; the 80's set also includes Lemon Meringue, and the 2003 set includes Ginger Snap.

This was kind of a tough one for me to decide on. Most of Strawberry's family isn't revealed design-wise until the recent reboot, but I cannot do live-action art to save my soul. And although it's likely Grandberry Jam isn't "around" anymore during BitBC, she was really the only option I could think of.

If I were to write an uplifting message to accompany this, it's to cherish your family, either blood-related or adoptive. Live every moment with them to the fullest, and life will shine just as bright to match 🙏🏻🩷
