So similar to the cheerleading tryout scene in Bring IT On where the guy sings "Give my regards to Broadway" thinking he's auditioning for Pippen.
This movie, that came out around the same time, also has a guy in cowboy gear singing Oklahoma! at some tryouts thinking he's auditioning for a musical or something but exactly like Bring It On he's in the wrong place. It's essentially the same exact joke by I cant think of the movie!
Help!?
Hi fellow blankies. I am conducting an experiment/survey from movie lovers on 4 of the most popular directors in recent memory. This will be a bracket style tournament. I will be pitting 7 of their films head to head and I need you guys to vote on which film is better. Whoever has at least 4 wins at the end moves on to the finals. Discussion and debate would be very appreciated.
In round 1 of Cameron vs Nolan, Chris pulled ahead with a win of Oppenheimer over Titanic.
In round 2 Cameron tied things up with T2: Judgment Day over The Dark Knight.
With the score tied 1-1 we head into round 3. And in round 3 we head into SPACE. We have Aliens vs Interstellar. So I again ask for your vote. Which space adventure did you enjoy more?
With all the talent involved, wtf happened here? You have a great story to pull from, Scorsese and Spielberg producing, multiple academy award winners in the cast, and it amounts to this shit? Wtf was up with Amy Adams in this? She was HORRIBLE. Was there anyone that actually enjoyed this show?

Another top 4 battle. Can you guys help determine a winner and king/queen of the house? Thanks!
1, 2, 3, or 4 to cast your vote works

My god what a ride. If you're looking for a balls to the wall action thriller I highly recommend checking it out. Easily cracked my top 5 movies of the year so far.
For those of you that have seen it and are more familiar than me in martial arts films can you tell me what other movies have fight scenes that are on par with the final fight in this one? It blows my mind thinking about how much work went into choreographing and filming that final free for all fight. Definitely interested in familiarizing myself with some other similar films I might not have seen!

Not necessarily ranked by how well made the movie is or anything like that just on how much I personally enjoyed it and rewatchability. While movies toward the bottom like Exit 8 or The Plague are well made and probably much higher on others list they just weren't my cup of tea. Overall I think its actually been a solid year so far for movies and am more excited for the lineup in the 2nd half of the year.
Really enjoyed this one. Was refreshing to see Samara Weaving take on a character driven role where she got to show more acting chops than she typically gets to in her damsel in distress horror roles. Kyle Gallner is one of the most under utilized actors working today. He is a force of natural charisma. New addition to my top 10 of the year so far.
What a beast. We all know this guy's knowledge is on another level but to see it on display on the spot like that about countless categories is impressive. He also did a great job showcasing his personality in an entertaining way as a confident, fun heel. Great performance and incredible run.
Have they ever had another MTS player on the show as a guest? I think it would be awesome to get Marisol Mckee on to do an episode and also have a back and forth about the MTS championship match.
Also if you have never seen or even dont know about MTS and what this thread is talking about, IMMEDIATELY go and watch it when you get a chance! I promise you'll thank me later.
MAN I WOULD GIVE AN ARM TO HAVE THE SCHMOEDOWN BACK
It was obvious with Baby Reindeer he had very high potential but tonight's episode of Half Man fully convinced me. In both writing and acting this guy is special. Fully believe he will be a household name very shortly.
What do you guys think?
I've seen 36 new release movies so far in 2026 and tonight I've found the new worst of the year. And thats including such trash as The Strangers chapter 3 and Return to Silent Hill.. Wtf was this? The story was already beaten to the punch by a better movie last year (American Sweatshop). The acting was unbelievably bad, especially in the leading role. I cant ever remember hoping for the demise of a final girl so much. Cringe inducing laughter at genuine attempts at trying to be edgy and shocking. Genuinely in shock that this has positive reviews on RT.
Anyone have any thoughts on this movie? Am I the only one?
I never see this show get reccomended to people looking for recs on here. I wonder if people either forgot about it or if it's just criminally under seen but it's an incredible show. Tight, simple, 1 season stories written brilliantly with hilarious humor that the cast effortlessly delivers.
Highly recommend.
