The idea that you become essentially incompetent the second you're not some kinda top notcher in some competitive in-demand field fucking sucks. Again, true or not. I hate hearing it. I hate hearing the words "highly competitive" or "in-demand".
Sometimes I just wanna feel enough.
I'm tired of this competitive narrative. This endless grind.
I'm tired of having to deal with assholes who climb that ladder and look down on anyone who doesn't have the same drive.
I think, therefore, I am. Now I just want to be.
