If you got splatted by a salmonid and need to be revived, stay in one place!!
Use the damn left stick to move the camera around and check if maybe someone is trying to revive you, and then, if it is, stay still!!
If you checked and no one is close enough, then press the 'Help!', then move to the closer player, and once you reach between eachother, STAY STILL!!!!
The fact that at this point Nintendo never updated TableTurf War so grinding points isn't infuriating annoying is unfathomable. Like, really? The maximun points you earn per Level 3 match is 130!? Or 150 if you play against the ghosts near the Dojo!? And you expect me to reach level 999 by accumulating 59683 points in total, Nintendon't?
And then there's the huking CPU AI, where it feels like they actually cheat to win every single match, pulling off so precise moves and lucky card draws. So basically I need to win 460 matches—400 in a best-case scenario—, but also having to take account of every loose due to impossible CPU moves?
I know I got late to complain about this game mode, but I started to play Splatoon this very year and I dind't know getting rewards in TableTurf War was such a pain in the azz.

Since some people liked my previous post, here's a new one. Remember: this is for potential new players that just got to this subreddit, so it's ok if you are already a master pro Chuck Norris level Salmon Run player.
🦑 At the very beginning of the wave, the Salmonids start to spawm from one specific point (just at the begining, after that, is from wherever the Holly Squid Mother wants). If it happens that you are in the point they start spawming, use the 'This Way!' button to let your teammates know where they started coming. NOTE: I don't mean is the same in all waves thou. The first spawn point changes every time. I mean they start from one specific point in that particular wave only.
🦑 Continuing with that: in Goldie Seeking Ocurrence, where you have to shoot ink to gushers scatter all over the map, don't go for the sames your teammates are already going. Also, if you find the correct gusher with the Goldie, please use the 'This Way!' to let your teammates know where to head.
🦑 Learn how to use your weapons. With this I mean to learn against which Bosses Salmonids your weapon is good. For example: weapons like Chargers, Stringers and some Sloshers are perfect against Steelheads. Weapons with a wide shot or rapid shot, like Blasters, Splatlings or Dualies, are good against Fish Stick and Stingers. If you have any of those three weapons, for example, don't let the Charger go against them.
🦑 If the wave is in low tide, do not go to far from the rest of the team, specially alone. And specially (too) if the place you are going is only reachable by a very narrow path.
🦑 If you are playing an Xtrawave against Horrorboros, remember: it only moves a set path across the map, so once you get it's movement pattern, it will be easier. Shooting Golden Eggs at its body is useless, always aim to the bomb at its mouth. If you have a short range weapon, is your responsibility to take down Bosses Salmonids and Lessers. If you have a long range weapon, then use it to shoot the bomb too, don't only rely on Golden Eggs. If your special is the Inkjet, the Crab Tank or the Killer Wail 5.1, use it against the bomb too. If it's now... well... then... don't.

🦑 Always ink the walls, that's a huge life-saver, even the ones that aren't very high, like the one surrounding the egg basket in Sockeye Station.
If you are a new player or at least a new Salmon Run worker, this is for you:
🐟 Don't shoot the Flyfish, that doesn't work. Throw your Splatbombs into their launchers.
🐟 If there is a Fish Stick near the egg basket and no one else is going to defeat it, you go, because it will undoubtedly be a huge obstacle due to the massive amount of ink it sprays around.
I could go with one advise for every Boss Salmonid, but this would be a very long post.
🐟 If you have the chance, lure bosses salmonids the nearest as possible to the egg basket, so you don't have to take time going for a Golden Egg far away and then bring it to the basket.
🐟 Please know how to use your special weapons: don't use it at the very beginning of the waves, don't use it at the very end if not strictly necessary (like: you are the only one alive, there's still more than 5 seconds and you don't have where to run away). If the four players are defeated, the timer is in 5 seconds or less and the wave objective was already met right as you fell, the game still let you to win the wave.
🐟 Continuing with the special weapons, and slightly contrary to the previous point: it's ok if you try to save both of them for the 3rd wave, but, if there's no other option, use one before (that's the time to be a hero!).
🐟 If you are fighting a King Salmonid (Cohozuna and Megalodontia, to be more specific) in low tide and they are going for you, don't lure them away from the shore, where all the bosses salmonids are spawming from, because then, using the Golden Eggs against them would be almost impossible. Also, remember that Megalodontia's attack damages other bosses salmonids, so use it to your advantage.

I have only played Final Fantasy VII REMAKE/REBIRTH, Crystal Chronicles, and the Bravely games–which are considered spin-offs and spiritual successors of The 4 Heroes of Light–, and recently I started Final Fantasy XVI...
Now then, I have a question...
Is every main protagonist an edgy serious-faced character? Or it was just a coincidence that I have played only this two specific games that has this kind of character?

Me mandan un correo diciéndome que mi aplicación quedó incompleta (cuando previamente me habían enviado otro diciéndome que mi aplicación había sido completada exitosamente), que acceda a un enlace que me proporcionan para terminarla, pero, cuando intento entrar, no me dice qué quedó incompleto, de hecho, me lleva a aplicar de nuevo. Intento abrir sesión con mi correo, para ver si fijándome yo directamente logro ver cuál es el problema, me dice que me van a enviar un correo con una contraseña de un solo uso, y nunca me llega nada.
No sé por qué le complican tanto las cosas a la gente que quiere trabajar, como si ellos mismos no necesitaran precisamente de los operarios para producir lo que en teoría les va a generar plata.
Así que so alguien trabaja en Abbott o conoce a alguien que pueda hacerme el enorme favor de referirme, se lo agradecería montones.

I really enjoyed, hate and loved fighting Scarlet. I never fully understand how to counter that one-hit KO attack I think she has, and a few times at the first tries she treated me like a sandbag, 😂 or didn't realized quick enough that she could counter your retribution and turn it against you.
But man, what I fight. And that final shot at the end... Marvelous indeed! 😌

So I played Stellar Blade for the first time almost two years ago when the game was just released.
Now I started to play it again, because I liked the game a lot, but only obtained the canon ending. And, also, I wanted to obtain all nano suits.
However, since I didn't know before that New Game+ added new variants to the nano suits and I lost some of them in the old saved-file, I decided to start a new one trying to collect everything (including memory sticks, documents and cans). I was playing slowly and calmly, using the dron scanner every time so I make sure I didn't miss anything. Then, I decided to skip Eidos 9 so I can play both non-canon endings in the same save-file, and in a New Game+ do again the canon ending.
What was my surprise when I discovered that once you maxed Lily's affinity, you can't choose to go or not to go to Eidos 9–you are forced to go. I said "Ok, I don't have more options, I will do a New Game+ after the New Game+ I intended to do, the first to get the non-canon ending with Lily and the other one to get the canon ending".
But then, what was my surprise when I realized I missed one nano suit in Eidos 9 even when using the scanner every ten steps!! I said "Ok, ok, I will do a New Game+ to get the non-canon ending with Lily and find most of the alternate nano suits, then start again a New Game+ so I go to Eidos 9 and find the nano suit I missed and the another New Game+ so I find the alternate version of the nano suit I missed in Eidos 9!!".
But then what was my surprise when I discovered that you can find a brand new nano suit once you found the main one and its alternate version in a New Game++ save-file... AND THAT INCLUDES ONE IN EIDOS 9!!! So I will have to play another New Game+ on top of the New Game+ I already played!!
That would be:
A normal New Game getting most of the nano suits ('most of' because I accidentally missed one in Eidos 9 even when I was forced to go there to begin with).
A New Game+ going to Eidos 9 so I find the missing nano suit.
A New Game++ so I skip Eidos 9 and get the alternate ending with Lily.
A New Game+++ so I go to Eidos 9 to find the V2 of the nano suit I missed the first time.
A New Game++++ so I find the alternate nano suit you find there once you found the main nano suit and its alternate version.
I really love this game!!!
Luego de ser rechazado ya dos veces en menos de un mes (aunque con una ni siquiera fue un rechazo, es que ya de plano ni tuvieron la decencia de mandarme un correo diciéndome que no pasé el proceso) y de mandar CVs a todos los lados y que ni siquiera me contacten, no puedo evitar pensar en esas empresas que pretenden que tengas uno o dos años de experiencia apenas saliendo del colegio/entrando a la adultez o cuando ya tienes 30, pero nunca te han dado la oportunidad, por ende, no tienes esa experiencia.
Ya no estamos hablando de no cumplir requisitos específicos como ciertos estudios o títulos, es que estamos hablando de algo tan básico como el tiempo laborado hasta para ser un condenado cajero o dependiente en una tienda.
He intentado buscar en muchos lados diferentes porque ya vi que sacarle provecho a la carrera que estudié está muy muy lejos. Pero ahora resulta que no son estudios lo que me frena, sino esa ridiculez de la experiencia.
Es que me dan ganas de poder ir a buscar a los reclutadores o a quienes se encarguen de montar los requisitos (me da igual quién sea) y decirles lo mucho que..., con todo respeto..., quiero vertir en ellos y sus requisitos las deyecciones de los alimentos consumidos y digeridos de los últimos días.
Y lo peor es que en los lugares donde sí puedo aplicar teniendo la experiencia que buscan también se quedan en nada.
Estoy desesperado y, si pudiera, haría uso de algún puente lo suficientemente alto.

It sounds sad, but is my assessment about the game after finishing the Splatfest with a record of 22 wins and 24 losses, not winning a single x100 game (and let's not talk about winning a x333 one), and barely winning enough x10 battles to earn the golden badges of Deep Cut members.
At least I can say my last match (started at the edge of 17:59) turned out to be a victory against Team Tactics, and that Tricolor Turf in the picture is one of the only matches I can say I am proud of (since, all modesty aside, I was the MVP).
I love Splatoon and everything related to it (the lore, the characters, the music), but, if Nintendo don't do something for the main line games (fixing the matchmaking system, the map layouts and stuff), playing it won't be enjoyable enough unless you are, at the very least, an above-average player.
At the end... maybe Raiders is the game for people like me, I don't know (except if it ends up being a Splatoon-style souls-like... which would be fun and sad).

I am Team Speed, and I have had a ridiculous loosing streak, in which I win one battle every five or six battles, even every seven battles. A few of them weren't like they obliterated us, but the last ones... well... at least Team Tactics destroyed us (and I guess is only because I haven't fight that much of Team Power).
I want to know if that's only happening with Team Speed or MY teams in Team Speed, or is happening with other Teams too. How many matches you have lost (against a different Team, not the same as yours) and if it has been by a few points only or by a big difference–and in both Turf War and Tricolor.
Since lockers were something brand new for some one who just started playing Splatoon 3 this very year, there is something I would love to see in Splatoon 4...
it's not new battle mechanics, it's not new ranked modes, it's not new style of weapons...
It's customizable bedrooms. Man, I would love to see that. Like picking the bedspread and the pillow shams.
I understand all the people complaining about how the Turf War mode had ruined their Splatfest. But you have to admit something: yes, Turf War in the Splatfest could be repetitive, specially since it doesn't add any change to the mode asides from the splatbombs (or whatever the name of those are), however, the problem is still the terrible matchmaking system of the whole game.
Remember: you could have a horrendous loosing streak even in Anarchy.
And I don't know if it's true what I read, but someone said that the Splatfest doesn't match players based on their ranks, so you can face a team full of pro-players (just as open).
I find really funny that there is a charger in my team and one in the enemy team, but the one in the enemy team has an perfect aim while the one in my team barely manages to shoot a player. The same with rollers or brushes or whatever weapon.
I'd like to see some new additions to Turf War in Splatoon 4, but without loosing its soul, because Turf War has been the central gimmick since Splatoon U, and new ranked modes since we have had the same since both Splatoon U and 2. However, what I want to desperately see in a new Splatoon 4 is a much better and well balanced matchmaking system.
I don't mind loosing as long as the match was fun to play and the rivals are in my level. But when I have a loosing streak because I have been matched against pro-players or my teammates are even worst than me–which is saying a lot, to be fair–there is where the game stops being fun to play.
And then, there's the map issue, which, since I started to play Splatoon 3 very late, I didn't know the general map layout sucks to play... well... tactically (ironic, huh?).

No me malinterpreten. Sin embargo, simplemente cada vez me siento más desesperanzado leyendo lo que comparten aquí.
Yo ya «sabía» que la situación estaba mal..., pero no TAN mal. Hace poco fui a la feria de empleo que hicieron en el Centro de Convenciones, y al ver la inmensa cantidad de gente, me quedé abrumado, si no es que asustado. No solo había jóvenes, sino también adultos de mi edad y hasta mayores. El lugar era intransitable. La cantidad de desempleo es espeluznante. Y no sé si se deba a que hay sobrepoblación, falta de empleo o una desafortunada combinación de ambas.
A eso sumémosle que Cosmo tenía razón (a pesar de ser una caricatura): la universidad no ayuda. En un caso personal, tengo un título de Técnico en Contabilidad al que nunca pude darle uso porque en ningún lugar –con una excepción gracias a que tuve palanca– me dieron la oportunidad. Ahora tengo un Bachiller en Educación de Español, y no veo un buen horizonte. Me comentaron que el MEP apenas está haciendo llamados de gente que aplicó en 2018. Ni siquiera he podido terminar la Licenciatura, pero no creo que de nada sirva porque de por sí el MEP ni sabe que existo.
Tengo un hermano que sacó Bibliotecología y está igual que yo. Una amiga que estudió Derecho y está en las mismas. Otra amiga que también es contadora y sigue trabajando en la misma empresa de manufactura donde la conocí. La madrastra de un amigo está en igual situación que la segunda con lo de Derecho.
Y luego, entro aquí, pensando que tal vez encontraría algo de aliento (supongo que yo malinterpreté las cosas cuando alguien me recomendó este subreddit; no era para ayudarme a encontrar trabajo, sino para que «viera» que no estaba solo en esta situación tan desesperante), pero, más bien, cada publicación que leo me termina dando golpe tras golpe de realidad.
Lo peor de todo es que, volviendo a mi caso, estudié Educación porque es lo más cercano a lo que me hubiera dedicado gustarme: la escritura y creación de historias. Pero, en pleno 2026, vivir de la escritura sin ser alguien ya famoso es virtualmente imposible.
Tengo que admitir que tengo demasiada envidia de esos yutuberos que ganan esos montones de plata por hacer lo que les gusta. Pero con ellos es eso, envidia...
luego están los políticos de aquí. Todos, no solo de equis o ye partido, todos, incluyendo parásitos como los de FA o la presidente ilusa del PAC, o los ministros, o las sanguijuelas de las universidades públicas, que ganan esos PI@#₡&@$ de plata mientras nosotros estamos aquí, viendo cómo carajos le hacemos.
Definitivamente, en una situación así, creo que solo se puede reír. ¿Verdad?
P.D.: si alguien de aquí tiene familia que trabaje en la parte administrativa de la Universidad de las Ciencias y el Arte, o cualquier universidad privada que haga estas mismas prácticas, háganme un favor y díganles que si están ya en modalidad 100 % virtual, no sean tan ingratos con sus estudiantes, aumentando más bien los precios para estudiar ahí. Están viendo cómo está la situación, y más bien buscan también cómo perjudicar a sus estudiantes. Sin vergüenzas. (Tenía que sacar eso también).
