Even in the daytime; this image doesn’t do it justice. They’re sitting in the left turn lane, blinding everyone in the transit shelter.

Why didn’t you show up?

TLDR: Car-brains who get upset when you don’t show up to an event they’ve scheduled a significant distance away from any transit options.

I don’t have a car; the first thing I do when invited somewhere is to check transit. If there is none, I politely decline with an ambiguous “sorry, I can’t make it“.

Apparently, this makes me difficult. I don’t complain about it and I don’t ask for rides. I do consider rideshare, however, this is often an astronomical amount for a round-trip just to go for a small shindig.

Hand lotion at a sink where the soap should be

So many people have hand lotion in the logical spot a soap pump usually would be. Why does anyone need lotion at a sink?

Their soap is usually further away with similar labeling or design. This either results in having to wash lotion residue off my hands, or taking extra time to read the overly verbose fancy labels. Sometimes they are just unlabelled pumps they fill themselves, turning the hand washing experience into a guessing game.

I am often in customer's houses doing dirty work, which usually requires me to was my hands at least once before I leave. I think I may just start bringing my own soap in a mini container.

BO

People who smell like they haven't bathed in a week. I am NOT referring to homeless or disadvantaged individuals. I am specifically referring to those who made a conscious choice to not bathe. It is an assault on the nose of everyone around!

Being called "Cheap" for not tipping

People who make this assertion are the ones asking for money. Who are the real "cheap" individuals?

Municipal power companies suggesting to not use air conditioning during the hottest part of the day.

Every year, this suggestion is made on behalf of energy companies with concerns about the "strain on the grid".

The hottest part of the day is literally the reason anyone has air conditioning in first place.

Cash only

I'll want to try a restaurant, only to find out they only accept cash. As someone who doesn't carry cash most of the time, how do these places continue to exist?

How many potential customers have just moved on because of this limitation? I keep a large bill with me for emergencies, but I consider breaking it into more than a singe foldable rectangle as a minor inconvenience I'd rather just avoid.

Useless websites

Businesses with a website which basically just exists to direct customers to call for details and pricing. Is this just an attempt to make it difficult to be compared with their competition?
