Tuta vs Fastmail
I've been using Tuta, but Fastmail is really tempting.
What makes me want to choose Fastmail:
- features (especially the ability to use anything@john.fastmail.com after creating john@fastmail.com alias),
- hundrets of aliases,
- webmail session safety - Tuta is actually blind to session hijacking and does not force you to log in again if an anomaly is detected, because Tuta simply does not detect login anomalies,
- so good Fastmail UX/UI,
- much better app for Android.
What makes me want to stay with Tuta:
- Fastmail offers no encryption (only email body at-rest and they can decrypt that any time if they want),
- Fastmail is australian service with servers in the US (Europe protects your personal data better),
- Tuta is cheaper and more private.
What do you think guys?
Please, don't advertise the other providers - I tried almost all of them, and the choice is between Tuta and Fastmail - nothing else.

Bad, bad UX
"Reverse alias" to initiate a new email is just an marketing slogan. There is no panel to add a new email that would be allowed to send messages from an alias. Proton sends an email, where you can click "allow", but then... nothing happens. So i still have to pay for Tuta account to use my domains with no headache (Proton Plus is absurdly limited).
There are only two columns of aliases - on a big screen this is nothing else than a space wasting.
You can't change the layout to nothing else - aliases take too much space on the screen so managing many of them is sometimes really tedious.
The Proton mail account through which I purchased this service still offers neither automatic garbage deletion nor automatic message forwarding.
For the last 3 years nothing has change in this regard.
I bought Proton Pass lifetime some time ago and I think that was not the best decision. I feel like Proton should first refine existing services and only then possibly start creating new ones.

Is it safe to keep webmail session open?
It is covienient, of course, but is it safe?
The risk of session hijacking is not a marginal problem these days.
Is logging out every time the only way to keep our accounts safe?

More themes?
I wish there was more themes than just 2 white ones and 2 dark ones...
In addition, the white ones are almost the same and also the black ones, so I can say that there are only two themes actually.
Moreover the dark one in a web browser (or Windows app) has a bit indistinct font in the column with the list of messages (maybe it's a matter of contrast) - it's a bit tiring for my eyes.
Why not to add few more themes with more colors?
It's not a huge effort, but it could make your service visually much more appealing and attract more users. Mailbox has already recognized this need in the market.
Look what I did just using Stylebot (but I wish I could use something similar with no browser extensions).

The best email out there is suspicious :(
I have tested a lot of email services. I mainly use Tuta now, but AtomicMail is the one that I like the most.
Atomic offers the most visually appealing webmail of all privacy email services and includes 10 native email aliases in their free plan. What more, all aliases appear on the left side panel almost like you had different mailboxes (or already defined labels).
The problem is:
- Atomic raises too many red flags including unclear financing model.
- Only one domain which is .io - not the best choice for universal address.
And I find it sad, that nice looking webmails are data hungry (Gmail) or crazy expensive and limited to just one address (Hey) or suspicious (Atomic).

No sound at all in C:S
UPDATE:
I loose sound every time I connect my monitor via HDMI (I play on laptop ASUS TUF Gaming F15). But still - everything else work just fine.
I seems like the game tried to send the sound through HDMI even if I chose any other device in system setting.

No sounds, no music, nothing. Everything else works great on my PC - every game I have, music, but C:S.
I had about one year break in playing this game, but it was on my SDD all the time (via Steam).
Yesterday I wanted to play it and there was no sound. I have checked Windows settings, Game settings, game files integrity and much more... I even removed the game completely, deleted the old folder and then installed again... Nothing works.
Any idea anyone (my OS: Windows 11 Home)?

Stylebot - is it safe?
Is it safe to use Tuta in the web browser with Stylebot?
I am not impressed by Tuta native themes (actually I'm not impressed by that with most email providers, especially those focused on privacy), so I'd like to improve my user experience using Stylebot.
The extension itself has quite many permissions and that worries me a bit, but together with uBlock it is the only way to make the webmail look nicer (look at the picture - that looks so much better to me).
