Are Fully online programs a good option?

Hello, I am looking to get a master in Public Health or Health Admin, I was wondering If it's better to go in person or if online is fine. I do not need to work full time during my masters which is why I am leaning towards in person but I'm not sure. I also have heard that in person programs allow for more 1 on 1 and networking abilities which seem very beneficial for this line of work. Any thoughts?

Considering an MBA Any Advice with low value Professional experience.

Hi everybody I am looking to apply to MBA programs this year and have a few questions. My undergrad degree is in Biochem and my GPA is lower than average. I plan on taking the GRE to help ofset the lower GPA. I have basically take two gap years where I worked in clinical settings. I would Ideally want to apply to an MBA program with a healthcare concentration. Is my professional experience of low value? I know I won't get into a top 20 or even a top 50 program but I am just considering my options or if I should go the MHA route. There is a dual program near me but it is not at a highly regarded school so I'm worried about that factor. Any advice or anyone that has had a similar experience? I would really appreciate it.

EDIT: I wanted to add that besides clinical experience I did work as a Junior Audit assistant for a Hospitality company through contract work over a span of 3 years. Again I know it's not the best but figured I add it.

Low GPA applicants is it even worth applying?

Okay I'm gonna start by saying this NOT a troll post this is someone asking for serious advice. My undergrad is in Biochem and my GPA is a 2.6 (not good I know). I am looking to apply to some 3 year programs that have a minimum 2.5. I was wondering is anyone around the same GPA as me has applied to 2.5 cutoffs and if they actually got in. I do not have any pharm tech experience more MA and phlebotomy. Any advice? Wanted to take the GRE or pCAT but its not required

EDIT* also is PHARMCAS like CASPA where your retakes don't count? How does the GPA calculator work on that platform

What can I do with my Degree as Someone that can't really go to Grad school?

I had dreams of becoming a PA however, a Biochem degree later my GPA is nowhere near what CASPA and any programs in the U.S would accept even after retaking classes (Caspa doesn't replace they average). Med school, PA, CAA, ABSN is all out of the picture. I am trying to figure out what else I can do with this degree. Since my GPA is low I'm not sure if a Masters is an option. I looked up Cardiovascular Perfusionist Certification and I seem to Qualify for a local program so It might be worth applying. Just wanted to know some insight from professionals of this thread. What job do you have that gives you a stable income? Anyone that was in the same situation that can guide me? I'd really appreciate it.

Anyone take the Genetics or Microbio course here?

How hard are they? I know these are Science classes so they are not easy but is it manageable working part time? I will be working 24 hours a week and taking 3 Science courses. Just wanted to ask if anyone has taken them before and know the rigor? Specifically Online.

Has anyone applied with a Unique LOR?

I know it is more specific to the programs that you are applying to however I was wondering if anyone applied with more unique LOR's and what were the results? Does an "academic LOR" HAVE to be Science related or can it be a English Professor? Anyone apply with LORs from people other than typical Boss, Office Manager, PA/MD/NP/DO, or volunteer coordinator?

How to make friends post-grad in Mckinney?

Hi Ya'll basically what the title says. I am living at home after college (I'm taking a gap year before grad school) in mckinney and am wanting to make more friends. I did not go to high school in this area so I do not have any high school friends. My college friends live all over and some live around dallas. I was just wondering if anyone on here knows any groups or ways to meet more young people here!

EDIT* I am 23. I like tennis, I have a dog, reading, not a huge club goer but I do like to drink sometimes, love going to concerts, museums, have always wanted to paint pottery as an adult but haven't gotten the chance, I've recently started doing solidcore and love it! Would love to find more pilates/lagree in the area.

Has anyone Ubered into the park?

Hi everyone. I will be flying into St.George for a friends wedding (in Orderville) and was wondering if anyone has ever ubered into the park or knows of any means of getting into the park from St.george besides a rental car.

EDIT: I want to add that I want to avoid using the shuttle. Someone mentioned it doesn't operate on Sundays and I fly out on Sunday.

I am a 23F who is newer to Dallas. I'm taking a gap year right now before I pursue higher education in medicine. What's the best way to meet people? Are there any tennis clubs for young people or what has been the most successful way that you have made friends in the city? I went to college in texas just not in Dallas so I've been having trouble finding people to connect with.
