Just finished day 2 (again)

I’m thankful for this challenge so far. Last year I started Prozac and it saved my life…but I also started eating consistently and gained about 15 pounds I didn’t expect to.

I WFH and just turned 32 and it feels like it’s been a recipe for weight gain and getting out of touch with my body.

So far it’s not so bad but that’s when everything in life is going as planned. I’m worried what the weekends will bring when I have plans with friends and the desire to sleep in till noon when I have tasks I now need to get done.

I guess I wanted to write this because the future obstacles are on my mind a lot. I struggle to keep good habits going long and especially on weekdays when schedules can be more random.

For now I’ve been sticking to things that I know help me. The tracker, using my calendar to schedule workouts, and journaling. I really don’t wait to start over again, if I can help it!

Bettas have bed times??

lol just a fun thing I went through today with my betta. I normally get up at 9am and turn on my tanks light. I’m usually greeted by an hangry looking fish. This morning I had an early flight and got the little guy up at 530AM! Or at least I tried to! I gently tapped his tank a bunch and the most I got was a few butt wiggles from his hiding spot. I’ve never seen the proverbial fish version of pulling the blanket over one’s head before.

He eventually got up and looked so shocked for a second. I was only a little worried. But now I know, fish absolutely have their own little schedules and don’t like being woken up too early XD

I love these little guys so much.
