My abuser was granted a protective order against me. More than anything, it made me curious how often this happens. Is this common in dv?

Several protective orders in place. Both civil and criminal. VA doing absolutely nothing. My question is, will I get the money back that he has been fraudulently collecting over the last year? And, since the va doesn’t care, who does? How can I get my kids off this disgusting person’s va benefit? Severe dv and history of abuse. He’s dragging out the divorce process, keeps sending people to my home to serve me bogus legal papers, and has successfully manipulated the court into believing that he is the one who needs protection from me while simultaneously collecting money from the va off me and my kids. I don’t care anymore about what the court decides as I’ve lost all respect for them after what has happened, I just want my kids off his va benefit. He is 90% va disabled. Someone help please.

Long story short, I’m in the middle of a high conflict divorce with an abusive ex who has continued to harass me through legal filings and other means. I’m moving soon and want to keep my new address as private as possible. Is it actually possible to disappear from public records without literally going off grid? What steps have people taken to make themselves difficult to locate?

I know this probably sounds silly, but how do you find which tone of voice sounds best while at work? I want to sound pleasant to my pd and fire units and well, the public in general. I notice tone, cadence and rhythm can make a difference. But how do I find my sweet spot as far as voice tone goes?

I’ve noticed that I’m being expected to do things that nobody else is doing. is this normal?
