I bought a pack of spam a few months ago. Would this last dented can of spam be safe to consume?

I am doing a complete career change, so this is my first semester pursuing a paralegal certificate. I’ve always enjoyed discussing about court cases. This career change felt right for me. I haven’t attended college in almost 10 years. It is difficult to adapt with this change.
I did badly on my first exam for Legal Analysis. I did much worse on my quiz on the IRAC. The professor changed the setting on the college website, which allowed me to see which questions I scored wrong on the quiz. It was every single question that I second guessed the answer. That was most of the quiz.
I am doing fine on the assignments. I thought I knew the material. I think I have anxiety with the testing. I get confused on how to answer the questions. How can I remedy this?
My boyfriend, his family, and I will be visiting San Diego this Saturday. He wants to watch the World Cup with his dad. He has a broken foot so I’d preferably want them to go to a bar where he can get accommodated easily.
I know San Diego somewhat well due to frequent road trips when I was younger. I want to avoid going to Gaslamp due to very high parking costs. I think their accommodations might be in Mesa. I’m not sure on that.
He has very young nieces so I think picking a sports bar where his nieces can be entertained somewhere nearby while my boyfriend and his dad can watch the game in peace.
I heard the term “culinary grade matcha” is a western thing. I have baked with matcha in the past, but it was “culinary grade matcha” from my local grocery store. I heard some people online say that these matcha grades don’t really matter. I know that matcha has different notes like one brand can have a nutty flavor to it. My friend purchased me the pictured matcha powder as one of my souvenirs. I’m curious how true all of this is.
Today, I asked my niece what she wanted for her birthday. She told me Star Wars Lego. She told me she likes Kylo Ren, but I’m sure she’d be okay with a Lego from the original series. Her dad, my brother, mainly likes the original series.
My budget is $50 and I’ll most likely be buying them from EBay. She doesn’t have much space in her room anyways for a bigger LEGO set. Also, the bigger sets might be too complicated for her. Her younger brother is a toddler so I don’t want to increase the chance for stray pieces for him to find.
I’m open to getting her non Lego products as long as it’s Star Wars related.
All because people recognized him through Nextdoor.
When I saw the suspect escape, I did see him head towards 45th Street. That’s toward the direction of the KFC so it makes sense his car being parked there.
My boyfriend broke his foot. There is a strong possibility that we will still go to our NOLA trip.
Why we chose COTS in the first place:
-It’s less than a 5 min walk from our hotel
-We wanted to fill up on food before the flight home. My boyfriend is a bottomless pit and he gets hangry during traveling.
The new place needs to:
-be close to our hotel (our hotel is near Bourbon St but not on Bourbon St)
-it needs huge servings
We prefer, but not necessary:
-new restaurant has live jazz music (this is more of a necessity but we are willing to cut this one out if needed)
-to have local protein dishes. We saw some restaurants serve fried alligator and turtle soup.
Something like that.
-spicy dishes (bottom of of our wishlist)
We didn’t get travel insurance. This trip is meant to celebrate our anniversary.
We don’t know how severe it is yet. We have to schedule an ortho appointment asap to know his treatment moving forward. I’m under the impression it might be a small fracture because we brought up our trip to medical professionals and they didn’t deter us not to go. We told a nurse practitioner friend the location of the broken bone and she told us that there is a possibility he will get a boot. With a boot, he’d be able to walk easier.
We already do own crutches and a wheelchair.
This is a copy paste from my previous post of our itinerary. Everything we had already planned is less than a 10 minute walk from our hotel.
Day 1 = we’ll get to our hotel that’s near Bourbon St. around 3pm.
-We originally were supposed to take public transit to FQ. I don’t think that’s a good idea anymore. I researched other transportation options and the cheapest option was $50 one way. Is there a cheaper option?
We have a dinner reservation at Brennan’s around 6pm. We have no activities planned.
Day 2= Cemetery Tour at 9am. After the tour,
We’ll bike around FQ, get lunch somewhere.
-We were planning to get bikes and bike somewhere, maybe a park. The biking was supposed to be spontaneous way to explore. We need ideas how to fill up our day. Most likely, I’ll be pushing him on a wheelchair from location to location.
Around 2:30, we’ll go to the Pharmacy Museum until closing at 4pm. No additional paid activities for the rest of the day.
- In my previous post, people recommended to do a music activity. I was thinking going to Pat O’Brien’s first then Preservation Hall. Is this a good idea for this night?
Day 3= go to Cafe Du Monde first thing in the morning then all day Swamp Tour/Plantation Tour.
We’ll be back to FQ around 5pm.
- a friend told us he won’t be able to see the second floor at the plantation tour. Should we just cancel this activity?
No additional activity planned afterwards.
Day 4= Checkout. Brunch at Court of Two of Sisters at 1pm.
-I brought it to his attention that multiple Redditors disliked this establishment and recommended other places. He still wants to go.
He wants the buffet. This restaurant is less than a 5 minute walk from our hotel so I don’t think we should change restaurants anyways.
EDIT: We’ll look for a new restaurant, but it has to be nearby and it has to have large portions. Looking for more options than Arnauld’s before choosing a new restaurant. My boyfriend says he wants the new restaurant to have music.
Leave for airport around 3-4pm.
He’s really sad about his foot. I want to make the best of it.
Our trip is 3 nights/4 days.
Day 1 = we’ll get to our hotel that’s in central FQ around 3pm. We have a dinner reservation at Brennan’s around 6pm. We have no activities planned.
Day 2= Cemetery Tour at 9am. After the tour,
We’ll bike around FQ, get lunch somewhere. Around 2:30, we’ll go to the Pharmacy Museum until closing at 4pm. No additional paid activities for the rest of the day. We might schedule a vampire tour or a ghost tour during the night time but so far undecided.
Day 3= All day Swamp Tour/Plantation Tour. We’ll be back to FQ around 5pm. No additional activity planned afterwards.
Day 4= Checkout. Brunch at Court of Two of Sisters at 1pm. Leave for airport around 3-4pm.
If we add an activity it would probably go on Day 1 or Day 2. At least one night might be dedicated to light drinking. We’re not big drinkers, but we want to experience the vibe.
Edit: We’re going to add Preservation Hall now! It’s tbd on which night though.
I’m going to Nola in a few weeks with my bf. My bf has never tried beignets because he dislikes how they’re deep fried and sugary. However, he will make an exception for Nola since that’s part of the local cuisine. I anticipate we will try only one beignet place.
Me on the other hand, I love beignets. I’ve baked them myself a few times. I get the Mickey beignets every time I go to Disneyland. I’ve been to a few restaurants near me that had them. I had them years ago in Portland. I tried them again last fall in Georgia.
I heard supposedly that the Mickey beignets use the Cafe du Monde mix (but I heard that years ago). I saw food reviewers say that they prefer Loretta’s. But I want final confirmation if I should choose Loretta’s over Cafe du Monde.
Edit: I’ll convince him to do both because I think he’d want to try Loretta’s crab beignet.
Edit 2: He wants Loretta’s crab beignet. We’re going to both now. 🥹
Her brother offed himself years ago.
He died a few days before their mother’s birthday.
Depending on my money situation (I’m poor), I do get my friend a bouquet from Trader Joe’s on his death anniversary. I usually don’t get her anything for his birthday.
However, this year, my friend is sadder than usual because he would have turned 30. I think their mother is a lovely person, so I also want to get something that their mother could enjoy, too.
I was thinking about baking cookies. I want to get something small on top of the cookies. I was thinking maybe flowers again, but flowers around me get ransacked around Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day.
I was thinking a card, but I’m not sure what exactly to write. I was at their house on their mother’s birthday (which was days after he died) and the happy birthday singing was depressing. I feel like writing a card can have a similar sentiment.
