The incentive 1 percent interest reduction to switch to an autopay and start paying on your plan by September will only last for about 18 months.
"Borrowers who enroll in auto pay by September 30, 2026, or who are already enrolled, will benefit from the interest rate reduction through June 30, 2028. "
In addition, if you were already enrolled in Autopay, or would enroll eventually anyways, there was already a 0.25 percent interest reduction benefit.
This means the new incentive is actually just an additional 0.75% interest reduction for 18 months.
It's not literally nothing, but it certainly isn't a "big help" or anything.
Edit: I've been corrected that it's 22 months, not 18, and I accept my censure
I prefer to change volume using a button, or at least a tappable up and down, so I can set it just the level I like, and remember what number I like. The Thor Volume buttons only change the top screen, and the slider on the touchscreen controls doesn't go in increments. Also it sometimes takes a second of me pressing before it registers movement.
Anyone have tips on how else to control lower screen volume? Tia
