How long is your typical session, and has that changed a lot since you started?

I genuinely can't get past 30 minutes before I lose focus or just feel done, but some of my friends casually do an hour or more and it kind of blows my mind.

How long did it take before yoga started feeling like something you wanted to do, instead of something you were making yourself do?

I still have to talk myself into it most days, so curious when it actually starts feeling different.

3-4am wakeups are ruining my mornings, does anyone else deal with this?

It's been happening for the past few months now. I fall asleep fine around 11pm, but then I'm wide awake at 3:30am like clockwork, every single night. I'll lie there for an hour, sometimes two, mind just racing about random stuff, and by the time I actually fall back asleep it's basically time to get up. Tried cutting caffeine, tried melatonin, nothing's really working. Anyone found something that actually helped with this, or is this just something I have to live with at this point?

What's the most underrated result you've experienced from your fitness journey?

Everyone talks about the visible changes, but for me the biggest win was way better focus at work and way less anxiety day to day. What's the "hidden" benefit that surprised you the most?

That moment your hips crack so loud in a group class everyone hears it.

I'll be mid-stretch in a group class and my hip lets out a pop you could hear from across the room. Doesn't hurt even a little, but the whole class goes quiet and everyone turns to look. I just nod like yes, that was me, carry on. Please tell me someone else's hips do this too. I refuse to believe I'm alone here.

Does yoga actually help you with weight loss?

Has anyone actually lost weight from a consistent yoga practice or does it always come paired with diet changes and other workouts?

What part of Tai Chi do you struggle with most?

The breathing coordination gets me every time. The moment I try to think about it consciously I lose the flow completely.

For me it's always the small things like, 10 minutes of movement a day, making time to actually eat breakfast or stepping outside before opening my phone. What's yours?
