Help! Can’t control my eye rolling w friends!

Anyone else have friends who think they understand everything? They spent 24hrs off of a cruise ship and think they know a culture? They explain your struggles to you because they did something similar one day 40 years ago? Argh! I’m going to have to get hypnotized to not snap their heads off!

Thrift store recs for art supplies

Do you recommend a thrift store that has a good “art” reputation? Looking to sort through my art supplies, donate what I’m not using and to pick up a few things to trial.

Step down a dose

TLDR: How do you reduce the dose if you are using vials/syringes?

Any advice to offer on how to reduce a dose? I have a month worth of vials of 15mg Zepbound and want to modify the dose to 10mg/ week. I'm on Zepbound from Lilly Direct and used 15mg over the winter and was so tired I didn't exercise and gained 10 lbs. I switched to 10mg a few months ago and BOOM I took off and lost a few pounds. I had a long hassle with my insurance and got behind on my doctor's visit for a new script so all I had left was a 15 mg dose. It's too expensive to not use, but I've proven I don't do well on 15mg dose. If you have an answer to this problem I'd love to hear it. I've tried asking GiftHealth, no help. Will call Lilly tomorrow and see what they say but in the meantime, what would you do?

Anyone else surprised to be so content in retirement?

Maybe this honeymoon will end, but I am SHOCKED at how content and busy I am in my new life. Celebrated retirement the end of 1st quarter with 5 weeks in a treasured spot abroad, then home to garden and hanging with friends. I got a dog and started classes for a new hobby. And this "Freight Train" of a Type A Personality is wildly content! Yes, I have lots of travel on the calendar for the next 8 months, but nothing compared to my work travel.

Training a GSD rescue that is not motivated by treats.

TLDR: Adopted Dog isn't motivated by treats or toys for training.

Any tips to offer? We rescued a GSD Mix a month ago. She is 3.5 yo and has been in shelters since she was 1 yo except for a 3 month period where she was adopted and then kicked out of the home, not returned to the county shelter, but locked out of the house and ignored. She was very shut down and is slowly adapting to our house. So far training has been limited to good house manners and exposing her to things like car rides and leash training. I've been told she will go over/under any fence so we have installed a new invisible fence and will start a very slow intro to that next week. This dog is not motivated by treats but will respond for a small window of time to praise. If I get too "Big" in my praise celebration she immediately goes into a submissive position on her back and looks away. She is NOT learning recall at all and is very dog reactive. We are experienced dog owners and trained for agility/fly ball/Canine Good Citizen when our kids were home but have finally encountered the first dog that is not driven to please us... yet.
