What to do with old deck wood?

My big project for the summer is to replace this 30+ year old deck. As it happens I also want to build some new compost bins. Is it safe to use this reclaimed, treated lumber for that purpose. I will be using the compost on my vegetable garden. My concern is that I know some older wood was treated with chemicals I wouldn’t want near my food. My question is twofold: has sitting in the weather for three decades mitigated the problem? And is it really going to get enough in my compost that will then be mixed with soil for my plants to pick up a measurable amount? I’m not as worried about the paint as I can build it with the paint flecks on the outside where it won’t touch the compost.

My first idea was to build raised beds is that a viable option?

I considered not obscuring PII, but I’m better than that. The crazy thing is I don’t live in that county (or even that state) and never have.
