Fresh out of ow. Took our first pool dive Sunday. Absolutely love our kits. And before I get any guff about air 2 setup, my buddy is my wife and has the same setup. And she is the only person I will dive with.
Finished my owc today with my wife! Saturday was our first ow dive, did 3. Was a lot tougher than we thought. Besides the beginner buoyancy problems, the visibility was less than 3 feet! Only because there was 3 different groups taking turns in the same area. Lost my orientation a few times due to only seeing brown silt flowing in front of me in an opposite direction than I was moving. Got lost several times, never panicked but didn't enjoy the experience. And was more worn out at the end than I have been in 20 years!
The forth dive was a bit better today. Only our group(5 people). But we were worn out from the previous day. We both did well on the skills tests and felt accomplished. And we have both decided to not do the advanced class till we get some more experience. All in all glad we did it and plan to continue going to closed water classes and do some open water dives when we can.
Side question, I had a nose bleed on my 3rd dive yesterday at 21' and again today ar 26'. Is this normal? I tasted blood when I was at the 26' mark about halfway through the dive.
I know matco doesn't make them but they do sell them.
For those who were asking, if you flip the tool over the are stamped sae on the other side. 11mm=7/16 etc... They worked well, had a rounded off brake line that a line wrench wouldn't grab yet these did. Only time will tell if they are worth the purchase.
Customer says the a/c is noisy on start up.
