Hours of tweaking tiny things, moving stuff around, changing it back… and then somehow noticing the ONE thing I missed after the video is already finished.
Apparently my editing process is mostly caffeine, stubbornness, and refusing to let the timeline win 💖

I recently commissioned an amazing artist to redo Yuki’s blendshapes, and the difference in her expressions and facial tracking is huge. I’m really happy with how much more expressive she feels now, and I had a lot of fun performing this one with the updated model.
I had to delay my Black Horse and the Cherry Tree cover by one day because my new facial-tracking blendshapes were finished today! 😭💕
So the cover will be out tomorrow instead, but I wanted to show off what the new tracking can do in the meantime.
I’m still dialing in all of the settings, but I can already get SO much more expression out of my face now, especially with my eyes, eyebrows, and mouth. I’m kind of obsessed with it 😂
Hopefully this will also make my creepypastas and music videos even more fun to watch, since I can react and emote so much more now.

I wanted this one to feel dreamy and a little supernatural, with moonlight, cherry blossoms, and the black horse imagery running through the video.
It’s also my first cover recorded with my new microphone, so I was especially excited to share how everything came together.

Hi! My channel is Yuki Neko Chan Studios, a VTuber channel focused mainly on music and horror storytelling.
I’m a singer and creator getting back into music after being away from it for a long time. On the channel, you can expect a mix of vocal covers, original music, cinematic music videos, and original creepy stories through my Yuki’s Midnight Tales series.
My goal is to build the channel around two things I really love: music and storytelling, with Yuki as the character tying everything together.

Hi! I’m Yuki, a cat VTuber, and I just released my first full song cover. 🐾🌙
I sang Billie Eilish’s “bury a friend” and turned it into a dark shrine story with fox spirits, yokai, and a whole cinematic narrative.
The vocals are mine, Yuki is based on my own VRoid character/model that I designed, and I used AI-generated illustrations of her as the visual base. I then did the sequencing, animation/movement, effects, editing, and final music-video production myself.
I’m just starting to build out the music side of my VTuber channel, so I’d genuinely love to hear what you think. 🖤
