Should I Sell My X5 + GO Ultra and Replace Both With an X6?

Hi,
I have an X5 and a GO Ultra. I only use them as a hobby, not heavily, maybe a few times a week. I know they have different use cases.

I also have an iPhone 17 Pro Max, and I upgrade my iPhone every year. The truth is, I still shoot a lot of my daily content with my iPhone. Editing is faster, I don’t need to transfer files, it’s easier, and my phone is always with me and usually already in my hand.

Anyway, I’m not sure if I should sell both the X5 and GO Ultra and then I’ll get at least €800 for both, and just buy x6, so use one camera instead. I mostly shoot everyday city videos and share them on social media for fun. I’m not an influencer lol.

Sometimes I feel like I don’t really need these cameras because I can already do almost everything with my iPhone. Even though they have different uses, keeping two extra cameras sometimes feels unnecessary. In February I only had the Go Ultra and I thought it was unnecessary so I sold it, and then there were moments when I regretted it, like "oh, I wish I had the Ultra so I could record this and this" I recently bought it again 🥲

Two days ago, I bought the Insta360 clips that let you attach a camera to your bag. Already tried with x5 and it worked well. X6 is more compact, I’m thinking I could wear it and record like the GO Ultra. So maybe I could have some of the functions of both cameras in one device instead of keeping two.

Having two Insta360 cameras just feels a bit too much for me, but I’m really not sure what I should do. I’m open to any ideas or opinions.

With this mount, can I attach the x6 to my crossbody bag strap and keep it on my shoulder? Does it really work?

Hello. I want to buy an Insta360 x6. I'll record daily outdoor videos, and will also use it during vacations. However, due to my rheumatoid arthritis (a condition affecting the joints, my fingers as well), holding a selfie stick for extended periods (longer than 10 minutes) is difficult and causes stiffness in my fingers.

I wear a crossbody bag every day. I saw a mount that I could attach under x6. Would it really make shooting videos easier and possible with this? Does this mount actually work?

Can anyone here recommend or not recommend this?

I'm not interested in the mount that attaches to the body with the selfie stick; I just want to wear the x6 itself and don't want to wear a belt or strap all over my upper body.

Mini ball head to attach on Quick release mount for €5 or Pivot Stand for €35

I have a quick-release mount. It seems I'll occasionally need to hold my Go Ultra vertically on a selfie stick. To attach it to the quick-release mount, I could just buy a mini ball head (there is a tool in the packaging to attach the mini ball head on the selfie stick + quick release mount) mount it on the quick-release mount, and use it when needed – that costs €5.

However, a pivot stand does this directly, but it costs €35. But the thing is I want to save money and don’t want to spend if it’ll do the job. Has anyone tried it? I won’t use sticky tab of Pivot Stand.

Thanks in advance

Insta360 x5 video/ photo quality problems / How to solve it?

Hello. Just purchased Insta360 x5.

These are some screenshots from the video, you can see what I mention.

When I download Insta360 x5 files to my iPhone 17 Pro Max, even if they appear as 4K in the app or in my gallery, the quality is definitely not 4K; it looks poor quality like 720 or 1080p.

I've tried various methods. I understand that compression can cause degradation when uploaded to social media platforms, but even though it appears as 4K in my 17 Pro Max gallery, it doesn't feel like 4K in reality.

How can I solve this? Thank you.
