We just launched GestureVault on the App Store 🎉

It’s a privacy-focused vault app that uses a custom gesture-based unlock, and we’re really excited to finally get it into people’s hands.
Since we just launched, we’re looking for some early users who are willing to actually try it out and tell us what they think — what you like, what feels confusing, what you’d change, features you’d want, bugs you find, anything.
We’re giving out 10 promo codes to people in this thread who want to test it.
No requirement to leave an App Store review or anything like that — we genuinely want feedback here so we can make the app better.
If you’re interested, comment below and I’ll send you a code. 🔐

Added an Apple Watch companion to GestureVault, TOTP codes locked behind a crown gesture

Wanted to share a new feature we just finished for GestureVault: an Apple Watch app that holds your TOTP (2FA) codes, unlocked by rotating the digital crown in a custom sequence, kind of like an old combination lock. Confirm with your watch passcode, and your codes show up right on your wrist.

No more pulling out your phone mid-login just to grab a 2FA code. Like the rest of GestureVault, everything’s local and encrypted between phone and watch, no cloud sync, no biometric data stored anywhere.

This has been a fun one to build, curious what people think of the crown-gesture idea specifically, it’s a different kind of interaction than anything else in this space that I’ve seen.

Kickstarter’s live if you want to check it out: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gesturevault/gesture-vault-a-new-way-to-secure-your-data

Looking for investors

I am currently trying to raise funds for an app called Gesture Vault on kickstarter. All im asking for is $200 and we are already halfway to the goal! Gesture Vault is a new way to protect your data on your iPhone! It doesn’t lock your data behind a pin or password that can be hacked or spied on. It locks it behind a gesture motion you make using your fingers! There’s infinite possibilities on what you can do to lock it and all of it is saved on device! It also makes it almost impossible for someone to hack into it! If you’d like please go fund the kickstarter at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gesturevault/gesture-vault-a-new-way-to-secure-your-data

Looking for small angel investor to launch my app

Hello! I am the inventor and founder of a new iOS app called Gesture Vault! In its current build it can lock pictures, notes, and password behind a lock known as a gesture! A gesture for those who don’t know can be any sort of movement with your fingers across your phone screen! For example if you take 4 fingers and slide them down then that’s your way in! And you can be as creative as you want! You can make your passcode be signing your full name into the app! Nothing gets saved to the cloud or to any servers anywhere! Everything is kept local to the phone and encrypted so if you dont tell anyone your passcode they won’t be able to get in! No more worrying about leaving your phone unlocked for your friend to see those embarrassing photos you took in high school lol. Anyways I just need around $200 to launch the app on the Apple Store as well as the android play store (or whatever it’s called now). If you decide to fund you’ll have early access as soon as it’s available for TestFlight as well as have input into the development! The current path is developing for android and then Mac, windows, and Linux down the road! If you want to see a video demo you can message me or go to weeklyships on TikTok and it’s in the pinned videos!

My latest side project: Quote Catcher

Hello!

I run a electronics repair company in my local and the one thing I’ve always found myself having issues with is getting quotes followed up on. I feel like I have missed out of so much money simply because either I or the customer forgot we even talked lol. I looked online and couldn’t find something that was cheap, easy to use, and scalable. So I decided to make my own tool called quote catcher! It’s a tool that you can input quotes you’ve given to people and it will auto send out emails (text support coming soon) at set intervals (2 days, 5 days, and 10 days after you input the quote)! You can custom the message in the emails as well so it doesn’t feel so robot like! I don’t have a unique domain for it right now so it just lives on my own domain. The URL is quotes.anythingspossibleerc.com! I will be getting a unique domain for it if it gains enough steam! Tell me what you think and give me some suggestions!
