Had my own little hero moment

Put my warrior ultra to good use, here's the little story:

It was dark out, and I was sitting watching TV when my roomate comes running, saying "kiki (the neighbor's dog) just got hit by a car!” Once I registered what that meant, I hopped up, snagged my Warrior Ultra, and dashed out the door. A light press of the rear switch, and I was on my way to the neighbor, kneeling over her beloved pet in the middle of the street. An older woman stood next to her, her car stopped in the middle of the street. In the light, the poor pup seemed alright, with no major injuries, so my neighbor carefully picked her up and took her to the side of the road. I was then getting the contact info from the driver, who was a bit frazzled and still in the middle of the road when a car started approaching from up the street, a full press on the rear to get to turbo, and the street and pedestrians were well lit up, giving the approaching cars an extra heads up that something was going on. I then stood there with the light on the people still in the street and directed traffic (as there was still a car blocking the road). Once everyone was off the road, attention returned to the dog, who seemed to be all right, just a bit stunned, and could take a few steps without appearing to be in any pain.

In the end, the dog is ok, the superb UI of the Warrior Ultra made it easy to use in the rush of adrenaline, and the great brightness ensured nobody else got hit.
(the pic is just of the light, I was slightly preoccupied to take a decent picture of the actual event)
