I recently completed my class 12th and got 70% in science, I will be taking admission in NIRMA cse and due to the fact of my high score in jee they are willing to accept me...
The main question I had is if i perform better than class all through out college and do my skills well too, will i struggle with job due to the fact i have 70%?
I do have options to give improvement but i am sure it will be a hassle managing 1st year of college and new boards, should i do this or accept what i got and continue with college...
Also, what about completing masters abroad will they accept me with these percentage?
Thank you in advance to all my seniors...
Genuine question: is TUM actually worth it compared to other German universities?
In the U.S., top universities like Harvard or Yale clearly give you a huge advantage because the name itself opens doors. But in Germany, even TUM doesn’t seem to have that kind of impact outside academia. Most rankings are research-based anyway, not about teaching quality or student life.
At the same time, TUM is known for brutal exams and a very stressful workload. So if the career payoff isn’t massively better, why not study somewhere slightly easier like HM or Passau and focus more on internships, networking, and practical experience instead?
I get that TUM has ambitious students and a strong network, but can’t you build similar connections through internships, events, clubs, etc. without going through the pressure cooker itself?
Honestly curious what people think.
Thank in advance 🙂↕️.
