I was just reading the posts on this subreddit, and it got me thinking about how many of our youth are worried about ECAT. That's completely fair. But some ppl are asking about field eligibility just by posting their aggregate is honestly a bit annoying( stop it ).
Have you guys heard of the IIT-JEE exam in India? It's widely regarded as one of the toughest entrance exams in the world, about 2 percent acceptance rate.
The legacy of JEE and NEET (similar to our MDCAT) wasn't built overnight. India has spent decades creating a highly competitive environment where hard work is rewarded. On top of that, top institutes like the IITs have strong campus placements, and many graduates receive very high salary packages.
Do you think Pakistan lacks this kind of ecosystem?
Should we have attracted more major companies to create better opportunities for graduates? Or do you think the problem lies somewhere else?
Or is it simply that Pakistani students, on average, aren't as competitive?
Where do you think we actually fall short—the government, the education system, the lack of industry, or the students themselves?

What documents are required at the time of admission if my name appears in a merit list?
Do I have to pay the admission/semester fee immediately to secure my seat if I'm selected in any merit list, or is there another way to reserve the seat?

I have a question regarding UET Lahore admissions and would really appreciate guidance from current students or anyone who has gone through this process.
Suppose I get selected in the 1st merit list for Electrical Engineering at Kala Shah Kaku (KSK) Campus (A-1). I pay the admission fee, complete all formalities, and also get a hostel room there.
Now, let's say in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th merit list, I become eligible for Electrical Engineering or Computer Science at the Main Campus, Lahore (A-2) because my preference is upgraded.
My questions are:
What is the process for shifting from KSK Campus to the Main Campus after an upgrade?
Will my admission automatically transfer, or do I need to complete additional formalities?
What happens to the hostel? Do I have to vacate the KSK hostel and apply again for a hostel at the Main Campus, or is there a transfer process?
If I have already paid the admission fee for KSK, how is the fee adjusted after upgrading to the Main Campus? Do I have to pay the difference only, or is there another procedure?
Is there anything important I should know before accepting admission at KSK while hoping for an upgrade to the Main Campus?
I'd really appreciate any advice from students who have experienced this. Thanks in advance!

Have you guys seen this man's ads on social media platforms like TikTok, YouTube, or Facebook?
He promotes links to fraudulent investment apps and encourages innocent Pakistanis to create accounts and deposit money. When he started, he had nothing, but over time he managed to trap many people. The reason is simple: he earns a commission whenever someone deposits money through his referral links to these scam apps.
He has now even bought a Jaecoo car 🚗 through the same business of promoting these fraudulent schemes.
My question is: where are our cybercrime agencies, such as the NCCIA, and where are the police? Why is this kind of activity being allowed to continue openly while so many people are losing their hard-earned money?

I Was interested in CS but keeping in view the job market and ai impact , like every day a new ai tool is coming and vanishing tech jobs . and techies are not competiting with juniors only also the experienced ones who have been laid off are also finding new jobs . Claud is at insane level fr . What should I go for , pls tell me your opinion.
