Hey everyone, just wondering if there are short term electric (hybrid/REEV) car rental services available, especially around Gauteng. I've checked out Drive Electric but it seems they are only focused on long-term rentals lately.

I don't own an EV yet but for me I think it's the way to go. So, before I commit I'd much rather prefer to rent one for a couple of days to a week to see and experience first-hand. I've done some test drives from dealerships but a 10-15min drive doesn't give me any useful experience.

Are car rental companies sleeping on NEVs?

Good morning and I hope everyone is having a better morning than me at this point. Quick context - my step-son has just admitted to stealing my digital camera and selling it to Cash Converters along with a 128GB memory card that has priceless memories. Is there a chance of me getting them back before they are sold?

He took the camera yesterday morning and sold it a few hours later, I've checked their website and it seems they haven't listed it yet.

UPDATE: I've got the memory card back. He's still trying to get the camera. If he can't. I'm selling his laptop 🤷🏽

Hey South Africa, I'm currently on an RSAWeb 50/50mbps fibre plan costing R854 p/m. I need a cheaper option because I'm trying to cut down on pretty much everything. I've tried checking the web for options and I've seen a few but maybe there are other options with decent speeds that I've haven't come across and I'd appreciate your in put. I'm in the Centurion, GP area.
