this band rarely gets mentioned when discussing the elders of pop punk as we know it today, and to me they are Blink before Blink
I am pretty sure Mark or Tom must have listened to this stuff, since we know they fucked with other Lookout Records bands like SW and early Green Day

hot take maybe, but I am okish with the Ada thing
I mean, the script needed a solid excuse for Tommy to go back from retirement and honestly I cannot think of anything better given the options. Charlie or Johnny Dogs at the hands of the nazis maybe, instead of Ada? Ideally it should have been Arthur of course but that was impossible.
Now the *execution* of how she died is what threw most people off and I agree 100% that it was kind of silly

some may already know, Steve Evetts studio was completely lost in a fire a few days back. I figured it would be nice to discuss his legacy so far:
- Hatebreed - Satisfaction
- Lifetime - S/T
- Turmoil - The Process Of
are my personal favorites but I am sure I am forgetting a lot of stuff
Along with Kurt Ballou, Zeuss and maybe a couple others, this guy helped define what modern hardcore sounds like
