Upgrade Noticeably Different for ~$600 CAD

I have a 10400 and a 3070, and want to upgrade to a 14600K meaning I also need a new motherboard and cpu cooler. All together the upgrade would be about $600-700 CAD and still be with 3070.

Im wondering if this upgrade will be a big enough difference in gaming in 1440p that its worth the $600 to save for a new build later down the line. or should i just invest $3k-$3.5k for a new pc with ryzen right now

Better Upgrade in 2026

I have i5 10400 3070 and 16x2 gb ddr4 and im mainly struggling with any cpu demanding games especially in 1440p. The cheapest option would be to keep ddr4 and use something like the 14600k but that cpu has no room for future upgrades. Budget isnt really a problem for me but im not sure weather, upgrading to a new cpu that lets me continue to use the 3070 is better or should I just spend more to upgrade everything now and get something like the 7800x3d. Any thoughts from other ppl, what would be better for the money.

Are these scratches or air bubbles and will this be a bigger issue in the future.

i’ve had my oled for less than 24 hours and i haven’t touched the monitor since i got it. looking closely with a flashlight it looks like an air bubble but i also see 2 other spots that have a very faint dot and are not yet noticable unless u shine a flashlight at it, but also looks like the same thing in the picture. its not noticeable unless its on a full white screen, but i dont want this to just be getting worse and be a problem later.

How long have you owned an OLED and issues over the years

I just purchased an oled and it looks great but wondering how they are for others after using for long time. I know overtime even after years, there will eventually be burn ins and issues but as long as theyre not extremely noticeable and actually horrible to look at, I'm okay with it. I am just thinking if I should return it and get a good ips instead as I want the monitor to last as long as possible and if the difference from ips to oled is that much better I should just stick with OLED. The tn panel I bought 5 years ago, even with slight scratches is perfectly usable, only upgraded cuz the colours and viewing angle were really bad.
I also know that OLEDs go by hours instead of years but i mainly just play games and movies and am on my pc for long amount of time a day. On days i do no work, my pc is usually on 12-14+ hours a day and think maybe that amount of time will cause issues faster.

MSI MPG 271QRX vs MSI MAG 274QP. Is it worth the extra $300?

I currently use XF250Q TN panel at around 50% brightness and my room doesn't get much sunlight either. I was going to get the 274QP, but the only thing I see is that ppl say the lower nits even if i use lower brightness is not worth it. The MAG 274qp is currently $550 CAD on sale and the MPG 271QRX is $829 CAD. I don't mind spending more money but if its not worth worth another $300, I dont want to spend more than I have to. I use a 3070 and i5 10400 cpu and I play games that need best response time.
