How “out” are you?

Curious how open the mono people in this sub are about being with a poly partner. Also how out your partner is with people in your social circle and families.

Personally I have only told a couple of friends. Terrified to tell my family as I’m worried they will hate my partner and judge us/treat us differently.

Can’t stand my partner’s partner

What do you do when you can’t stand your partner’s partner and your partner wants the three of you to hang out/wants the meta to attend family gatherings etc.?

I find this person so annoying and can’t understand why my partner wants to hang out with them. It honestly sort of offends me that my partner considers their relationship with this person to be on the same kind of level as our relationship.

They’re also long distance so the meta stays at our house sometimes. It’s exhausting for me.

My toddler only uses diapers at night. We’ve gone back and forth between using pocket diapers and disposable pull-ups. The disposables are convenient but expensive and I hate the trash it creates. The pocket diapers often leak and they are hard for my 3 y/o to get on and off herself.

I’ve been thinking about investing in SmartBottoms cloth pull-on diapers but I keep wondering if I could just add some more elastic to my pocket diapers to turn them into pull-ups. Has anyone done something like that?

So my cat got sprayed by a skunk while I was out of town and laid down in my kid’s dress-up clothes bin 😫

I de-skunked most everything with peroxide and regular laundry detergent. The only thing I haven’t been able to deskunk is this beloved clown costume my mom made when I was a child - I really don’t want to throw it away! The cat must have sat directly on it because it has a nasty orange stain, as you can see in the photo.

I tried:
-baking soda paste, let it sit for a couple hours
-ran it through regular laundry
-peroxide/baking soda/dish soap soak for 40 mins.
-it has been “airing out” outside for the last two months

And it’s still skunky. After the peroxide/baking soda/dish soap (which was not fully rinsed off) I tried rubbing some Oxyclean on the stain just to see what would happen, but it started to get hot so I was worried some chemical reaction was happening and I rinsed it off.

I’m wondering if I should try bleach??? Would that get rid of the smell?

We spend a lot of time outside so we often need to do a “bush wee,” as Bluey would say. I pee squatting all the time with no problem but I cannot ever get my daughter into a position that won’t spray pee directly into her pants.

Advice?
