Cathay Tzeentch cults?

I wanted to run this by some people who are more familiar with the lore than I am.

I remember hearing years ago that Chaos cults, specifically Tzeentch cults, run rampant in Cathay because the humans of Cathay have no chance of overthrowing their dragon overlords. So they turn to Tzeentch for change.

The thing is I can’t seem to find any sources that back this up. I know there are some lines in Total War Warhammer 3 that suggest that Tzeentch has a strange obsession/ hatred of Cathay because it’s been relatively stagnant for so long. But that’s as close as I got.

Anyone know anything more or can verify Cathay’s Cults problem?

The reason I ask is because I see a lot of people criticizing Cathay for coming off as too perfect sometimes. But I vividly remember hearing this brought up a few years back. Which would be a great way to show that their perfect reputation is just a façade for a ton of underlying problems.

Bhashiva hard counters Vampires?

I don’t see anyone really mentioning this when it comes to Bhashiva.

A teleport that can get you right to the lord/ heros, flaming attacks to counter healing, hell a debuff to make flaming attacks even more potent?

The only option that leaves the vampires is to get lords with flying mounts but then they have crane gunners and crossbows to counter that as well.

I know her and the vampires are quite far on the campaign but Cathay seems to have a new best pick against any undead faction in multiplayer.

What is this Sub’s general opinion on Total War Warhammer 1-3?

The reason I ask is because I was browsing YouTube and I noticed almost every video I saw covering the game had thousands if not millions of views. Yet I feel like I hardly ever see anyone talk about it. Not just on this sub but in general. It’s frequently left out of gaming discussion circles.

I am horribly biased so take this with a grain of salt but I genuinely believe that it is one of the best strategy games of all time in its current state. It has some flaws but even with those it is still so impressive that I can easily move past those.

The only criticism I can think of is the wall of DLC you face when trying to get into the game. I think that really needs to be addressed. It just needs to be formatted clearer. When you need a chart to tell people what DLC is needed for what content it’s a little crazy.

I remember Pat on the podcast talking about trying to get into it years ago but it never clicked with him. He didn’t elaborate much but If this applies to you I’d love to hear why!
