How would you want Mongolia/Mongolians to be represented in media?
If there were to be a Mongolian character in a movie/tv show in western/english speaking media (American/Australian/British, Canadian, etc), how would you want them to be represented?
Would you want their identity to be a core part of their character, or would them just being Mongolian be enough? Would you want them to have a Mongolian first and last name?
Would you want to just see small details like them casually making khuushuur, buuz at home in one scene or explicitly mention Mongolia? Would you be upset if the character of their family was portrayed by a non mongolian east asian actor/actress?
What would you want to see and what would you not want to see? Does representation matter to you? Do you want to see more Mongolian characters in American/western media?
