So my wife actually asked me what got me into liking more retro older watches and the design of it. And the simple answer is this beat to fuck 1601 from the 70s I believe, that my grand father wore every day.

Used sand and light sand from tamiya kit then a few coats of ts80 matte clear.

I’m waiting for new hands as when removing the minute hand folded.

But all in all pretty happy for a first try. Maybe next time I’ll try some texture does anyone ah e any tips for that?

Bigidesign fountain pen got it at bladeshow tx this past year carried it some currently has pearl noire black ink in it. has a small scratch on the body so id rate it a b- scratch only shows in certain lights and kind of matches the stonewashing $70 shipped obo on this

Got this a few weeks back carried for about a week. I’m the second owner first owner never cut or carried. I opened 3 Amazon boxes and fidgeted it a bit just to see if I like a frame lock and well I really do not.

Small scratch on blade not sure how it got there but it’s only visible at certain angles. And a few snails on the clip.

So. I placed an order after a few days got a email hey it’s out of stock it’ll ship when it comes back. I immediately asked well how long will that be. Nothing. 2 weeks go by no response to my emails. I made my post about it. And emailed again. Nothing for a week. Filled with my credit card.
